Ebay should just donate the selling and listing fees instead of making sellers donate something!
#5
Ebay charge enough to donate themselfs, this will cost more than the insertion fees in most cases.. Cold.. would rather just donate directly....

It's worth it if you've got an expensive item to list as you only have to donate a quid if you want and you don't pay final value fees,so it's win win.

Please note that you will get charged a Final Value Fee but receive a part discount in the form of a 'ebay Fee Credit' depending on the level of donation you decide to donate when listing your item. For example, if you donate 10% of your item's sale price to charity you will receive a 10% credit on your fees.

Hope this makes sense.

Well that's rather misleading,in the email i got it initially states receive a fee credit on your FVF which to me means you get it all credited back, hmmm off to have a look into this further.

So in th OP where it says As with all eBay for Charity listings, receive a fee credit on your
final value fee.

They have missed the part off saying it will be credited back to you according to the level of your donation.

Conveniently in the bullet points it neglects to mention the last part grrrrr
