I've had this same offer in the past...but forgot to use it in time before the expiry. I got the offer via email.
I have never had the same offer ever since and that was at least 18 months ago.
It's not really a deal if it's select people getting emailed a unique discount code...

I had a similar offer after ordering a rack for my motorbike - the voucher was going to be used for the top box but the supplier of the rack screwed up on delivery times and by the time I received the rack the voucher had expired and Ebay wouldn't do anything about it

So I did - I haven't purchased anything off Ebay for nearly 6 months but found most of the items with near same prices by going direct or Amazon

Their excuse - the codes are generated automatically (no human intervention) so I replied are you a robot?

Thanks for post OP, unlike the moaners, reasons your voucher failed or expired is yours not OP.

I lost out on a £10 off £20 ebay offer I'd received via paypal a couple of years ago because the seller didn't send the tarpaulin I'd ordered or even respond, and you lose the value of the voucher if ebay have to refund. I had to set up a new ebay account to use the voucher.

I didn't use the ebay account again and after about a year they sent me another.

Guys do check your spam folders. Few of my colleagues who haven't used eBay from ages have got this £10 off email as well. For one, it was sitting in spam folder. I bought pair of trainers in 2015 last time. So probably. Agree with some cold posts that it's for specific users only.

Log in with your id. It will show on left side near your id if you have code

Or

If you are looking at any item it will say do you want to save £10 with this purchase(underneath the price)

It's perverse how corporations reward their loyal customers.
