I think its a good deal IF you were going to list your car anyway...but i think some people will ALWAYS vote Ebay deals cold because there is a growing hatred for all things Ebay - and thats mainly due to them being a company that charges unethical amounts for fees just because they have pretty much no competitors...plus they try to make out they are giving amazing deals when in fact most of their half price deals save people about 5p per listing!!.....WOW, dont bother insulting us Ebay, you are winding people up even more and the day a viable competitor sets up a similar sight is the day Ebay will see their customer base dwindle away and their obscene profit margins take a hilarious fall....BRING ON THAT DAY.

I'm getting an ever increasing dislike for ebay, I think it is true that as they have no real competition and have also monopolised the payment market with paypal the fees they charge are extortionate.
Having said that I wouldn't vote cold as it's up to the individual whether they want to use ebay or not.

Noticed that they have increased the final sale fee from 5.25% to 7.5%, and changed the featured listing charge from £10 to £30 in some categories recently.

Can't wait for google to launch it's auction site, but they have been going to do it for absolutely ages.

Don't bother trying to sell your car on ebay, I tried a couple of times and just had people messing me about, ended up costing me not to sell my car!! Go for Auto Trader instead........................
