Sorry, but badly described on the eBay site. Glad I looked up the spec on AL site. These speakers cannot be used with portable media devices such as ipods phones and things with 3.5 Jack plug. Only for items with a USB socket.

I do agree that it is slightly misleading in it's description. Less is more? More like less is misleading!

I bought some of these from HMV when they were clearing shelves, I paid £3 for them - they're very good for their size. Not worth RRP, but still worth a tenner.

You can get speakers that use the usb for power but with a 3.5mm jack for input just fyi.....

I use these on our 22 inch LG TV in bedroom - much improved sound - and got my son a pair for his laptop - both cost me £15. Getting these for desktop pc. USB connection big plus.

i have to be fair they are good but x mini are a bit more bass orientated if you play cd/dvd through a good music player they sound good better than playing mp3/mp4 where the compression of the recording is clearly seen.
