ebuyer's delivery is one of the most reasonable anyway imho.
on the subject.. has anyone else noticed that this company, used to be one the cheapest for everything 2 years ago, and now isn't? i have a theory that companies get big, raise their prices, and rake it in for years because they have got a reputation for being cheap, and no longer actually need to be cheap because their customers stop price comparing once they're "happy" and in a routine. dabs did something similar 5 years ago and are now more of a quality seller. eh just something i wanted to share.
anyway, thanks for posting, i was going to order some ink and paper and stuff from them, gotta get it over £50 now ;)

edit: oh one other thing worth mentioning.. if this is their "super saver" delivery, it's also one of the slowest of any supplier i've ever used. think a week or so. they must stall deliberately to encourage spending more on faster delivery.

Thanks for the pointer oacyedriurdtr and Welcome to HotUKDeals :)

Hi Guys, have been watching for a long long time, but thought I could contribute now and again. Since I've been using the site, I keep bagging bargains.

Anyway, had noticed the free delivery ealier, and had bought an item over £50, selected the super saver delivery, but only went to half normal price (about £1.89 which I think they have been offering for a while).

Anyway, still placed the order, and have sent one of their enotes asking for a refund so will see how we go.

From experience, ebuyer quiet often upgrade their delivery time, so you often receive earlier than expected.

I'm not sure it was ever on and the graphic has gone now too!

Yeah... searched for the grapics & they've all disappeared.

Hi, The free delivery graphics were on the eBuyer homepage this morning/early afternoon however clicking on the image resulted in being re-directed to a blank page :(. Guess that the free shipping offer was withdrawn and the link not removed accordingly. This seems to have been replaced with 50% shipping discount (possibly Super-Saver only).

Not sure if anyone's posted details of the eBuyer Advent Calendar offers but they've got 1-day offers on the run up to Christmas. Today's offer was 10% discount on a K-World DVB-T USB2 Receiver QF: 108219.

Edit: Just noticed that the price has gone back up already :(. Thought that the discount was offered up until 23:59 on the day that the product is on offer :(. Still £19.99 for a DVB-T USB2 Receiver that's mean't to be compatible with GB-PVR is good VFM IMHO.

HTH.

Its all a mess there ITX :)

50% supersaver postage discount has been there for a few weeks now. The Free postage offer appeared only yesterday but looks like they have already withdrawn it. Instead, the Happy hour banner appeared today. My guess is that the free postage offer may be back after the Happy hour on Monday.

Hi Edi,

Certainly is confusing. 10% discount on a K-World DVB-T USB2 Receiver QF: 108219 according to their web-site should still be on right now (reply posted 23:45).

Quote from eBuyer web-site:

Ebuyer Interactive Advent Calendar - A deal behind every door!

The Ebuyer Interactive Advent Calendar is a fun way to Countdown to Christmas 2006.
On each day in December, click on the day number and the door will open to reveal a great Christmas Deal, but don't delay as the special offer price is valid for that day only (midnight -midnight).

Guess that eBuyer customer services would honour discounted prices if they're e-mailed but their web-site does cause confusion occasionally. Quite like eBuyer however another example of confusion is finding offers on their Happy Hour listings, clicking on the product(s) listed, and (on some items) the full-price is shown :(.

itx :-

I think the 10% discount on DVB receiver is for 1/12/2006. Today's deal is 'Save £70 on 42" LCd...." Am I right ?

Hi Edi, Please accept my apologies. Obviously not getting enough sleep. You're 100% correct. The offer is now showing a 42" Plasma (QF: 96187) with £100.00 off. Seems quite reasonable IMHO not that I'm able to afford one of these.

Kind Regards.
