Whilst it is 90% tat, there have been really good deals at both of the last two. On the last one the Xerox 22" widescreen monitor was under £155 delivered via google-checkout, bit gutted I never ordered. The one before had a bargain laptop - it was a Core Duo,120GB hdd,Vista HP, for £350!!
I for one will have a quick nosey, bet there is 1 good deal on there...

True there is not normally much on there, but I for one missed out on the 22" Xerox monitor last time and have been waiting for the next one to roll around in the hope they will have it again.
#4
LOL, nice work Totoriko!
#5
I can't be @rsed to look again but thanks for the info and hope someone gets a deal.
#6
Ah I can see it now:

3ukp off a rubbish 3000ukp LCD TV they can't sell.

Free shipping on on 802.11b routers that's just had a price increase.

100ukp XBox360's - sorry already sold out.

Oh and the old favourite of getting half way through the sale before anything goes on the website!

Cold for bait'n'switch. I'd prefer to have free shipping over 50ukp back.
#7
i aint looking forward to it, their "Happy Hour" is more like "Crappy Hour"
#8
Funny hour? :whistling:
#9
Mediocre Hour again already eh?

Oh well, at least with the Google Checkout it might make things slightly more interesting.
#10
Should this be "Happy Hour X2" since it is two hours long?

Advice: Don't just type when entering credit card details, instead use the On-Screen Keyboard in XP. Find it by going to Start, All Programs, Accessories, Accessability. This will avoid you being keylogged.

I for one will be having a nosy

that's not actually true ;) keyloggers log anything now-a-days.

Unfortunately :(
#13
The best way to avoid keylogging is to type the credit card number in random order, then re arrange the numbers using copy/paste

I wasted 5 minutes of my life last time and that was way to much.

Sorry my friend but we all waste some time in our life in search of a great deal

Why do people vote a deal hot or cold before it's even 'live'? I will be saving my vote until tomorrow...and then no doubt voting cold based on previous eBuyer happy hours :P

It's always fun to point out how much the have UPPED the prices before bringing them down.
#16
Its a crap hour.
#17
can't see anything on there i'd want, certainly not enough to make up to 30ukp to use google checkout, or 89ukp for free shipping.

mainly 70p-4ukp off a load of old tatt.

i don't know why ebuyer do these happy hours, they seem to get more bad press out of them than good, especially on their own forums!
#18
Voted cold.
I could not find a good deal - Happy Hour? :?

I think they believe the old phrase regarding all publicity is good publicity :giggle:
#20
xerox monitor is back 164 quid before quidco and google checkout.
#21
The guitars are a good deal for £20!
#22
Yip, the "Str*t" type guitar package is a good deal. £44.68 delivered on super saver for an electric guitar, amplifier, case, plectrum, strap, lead, tuner and spare string!!!!!!!!!
#23
Kingston DDR2 1GB ram at £25 absolute bargain - qf 91121; add something for a fiver (a 1Gb memory pen - qf 116100) that brings total weight to under 500g and you can get 1Gb quality ram and a 1Gb memory pen for £23 delivered!

I wouldn't call a pitch pipe a tuner (most people would think of an electric tuner) and as for the spare string... what happens if you break one of the other five? :p

FFS...you sound like the kind of person that wouldn't be happy until someone had put your slippers on, hung the strap around your neck and was moving your arm for you. Even then you'd moan that your fingers were sore!

For the price.....that was a BLINDER of a deal!

Well done you won my favourite post of the day award, fookin brilliant.

I got that put off by the last sales that I didn't bother looking at this one. I too would have had the guitar at that price.
