Ebuyer top deals using google checkout £10.00 off

OK as requested here is a thread where you can post links to deals on the Ebuyer site that when using the google checkout £10.00 off becomes great hot deals
This will free up the forum from getting clogged up with the same great deal of £10.00 off.

I'll start by posting this link for a 7" LCD portable DVD player which even without the google discount can be got for £62.92 delivered (super saver)
If you cut and paste the following link you can go to it

http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/126419

Maybe if this gets used the mods could make it temporarily sticky until the discount expires.

Happy 100th post there v2drinkers :)

Not to try and stir thing ups, but i think he meant an overall googlecheckout thread i.e. not just ebuyer. I'm thinking a whole load of merchants will be signing up for it now google have added that cool little icon next to all assosiated companies using adwords

Voted hot I like the idea off all the deals in one place.

I did make an order yesterday of some inkrite canon compatable cartridges, £1.16 each. That is the cheapest I have seen anywhere on the web. It is for the IP4200 range, ie the ones that require a chip.

You may want to buy loads or use as filler items to get to the £30 mark.

Thanks for starting this thread v2drinkers & congrats on your 100 posts :)

Eltax DV-254 HDMI DVD - USB & Card Reader - Upscaler = £37.91 (inc super saver and discount).

Owned this for a couple of days when I bought my TV from Scan Comps, very good piece of kit.

Is it USB 2.0 gd_miester? Returned the recent Lidl one, and have decided against buying the Philips cause of the limited USB 1.1 speed. How would you rate this one?

On further inspection it looks as though its an Eltax copy!!

Separate orders for cpu, ram, hd and os to go with it to maximise Google payments. There's an info website and thread on eBuyer forums about it.

I'm getting a few bits off ebuyer that i desperately need, I'm at £22.74 but i can't find anything for a filler. I'm getting case mod components, specifically cooling.

2 x 8cm Case fans
1 x socket A fan+heatsink
1 x vga card fan
2 x thermal compound

anyone pick out anything that maybe remotely useful in this area as a 8 quid filler? :D
#14
DVD-Rs disc are great fillers.

RE: The dvd play and USB2.0, sorry I cant remember, I only checked for upscailing picture quality, which was very good.

But there is a Toshiba HDMI DVD from empiredirect, for only about £5 more.

Am tempted by an external hard drive myself since I need some extra storage, although I think I'll wait six months or so and just get a whole new PC :)

Has anyone managed to cancel an order with Ebuyer via Google ? I ordered something and changed my mind shortly afterwards and used the google 'Contact Ebuyer' email (Request cancellation' option) and have heard nothing. This was on the SuperSaver delivery option so I doubt it has flown out of the depot !

Looks like this could be a problem paying with google checkout.

You should be able to put three diffrent orders and you will get £10 each time :)

Shame its ebuyer, rubbish rip-off delivery negates saving a couple of quid. Can usually beat ebuyers prices shopping around

I have two tips for people using Google Checkout with eBuyer:

1. You don't have to log out of your eBuyer account before making the purchase. I know it says you do, but I put through several orders while logged in and they all show up in eBuyer as normal (and are proceeding as normal too).

2. If you weren't logged in when you made a purchase, an eBuyer account will have been made for you at that time. Yes, this means a second account if you already had one. To find the username and password, enter your Google Checkout email address into the eBuyer "lost password" facility and they will send the details to you. I found this out after my wife tried it so I know it works.

Hope those help. :)

This offer seems great. Has anybody tried using this more than once?

I'm about to start buying components for my new computer and they are all (pretty much) over £30. This could save me a lot of money if it works more than once!
#29
Regarding the cancellation of orders when paying via google checkout:

Works fine, do it the normal way through eBuyer's own account system and it will be added to the cancellation list. I cancelled an order about 4 hours after placing it.
