My son is always moaning about the battery life of his iPhone 4S which I gave him when I got an upgrade. Hopefully this will sort him out.

EC Technology is not the best of companies. I bought a 22,400 mah charger. Was ok but had so many bugs. Customer service was not good to say the least. Returned for a refund. Stick to reputable brands instead.

Picked one up when the £10 code was around a few weeks back.
Must say, I've found it great - good selection of connectors lacking only a lightning connector IIRC. Used it several times now on trips.

looks alright for the price , however i feel safer with branded products when it comes to batteries, in a way i never trust these portable batteries much, so i never charger them unattended in a way but i feel safer with the quality control of branded batteries. (not much i know) but safer, in the case they could catch fire or something. warranty is a plus but honestly after the first few week i no longer care about warranty if it fails

Is this bad quality?

This really does not sound all that great, add a LCD for a 'useful' feature which in turn is going to compromise the battery it will do less then what you want it to.

This battery is pretty rubbish. I seem to remember getting it for £8.99 from Amazon. Even at that price point I was debating sending it back! The power output is much lower than on an equivalent sized Anker battery - which means things take FOREVER to recharge. The built in LED light is as good as useless (the Anker LED torches are actually pretty bright).
It is also heavier than the Anker with less actual battery capacity (aluminium build rather than plastic).
The actual battery capacity is accurate though....it recharged a Linx 7 3,500mah Windows tablet 2.5 times before running flat.

All in all, steer clear. Pay the extra few quid for an Anker battery.

I own this battery some time already and cant fault it. As some of you dont know while charging from batteries to e.i. phone will give you only about 80% from capacity due to loss while charging.

You've clearly just not owned a better product (I.e., Anker Astro 3). By comparison, this EC Tech battery is a piece of junk. It charges devices soooo slowly! It fails to sustain the charge on my Asus T100 where my Anker actually adds charge. It also takes about 1/3 longer to recharge normal devices...

By the way, I did confirm in my original comment that the capacity was accurate. It is just the performance that lets it down...

By the way, this was £8.99 on the 16th October (when I bought it). Even at that price, I was very tempted to send it back --- which says a lot for how little I like this thing!

Anker, EasAcc, Tecknet (in that order).
Stray from those manufacturer's, and you'll probably get a sub par product.
