I assume you mean the quality of the paper and the binding, and not the godawful attempt at writing.

Huh?? Please explain. I found them to be thoroughly entertaining stories. What did you find to be so godawful?

The writing mainly. The derivative nature of most of the ideas. The fact it treats the reader like a moron.

I hear that the fourth one is the funniest one though:thumbsup:

Unless you're a tween, I can't understand why you wouldn't read Anne Rice instead.

Even Buffy was better conceived than this trash.

I guess I understand what you are saying but as someone who used to love Anne Rice's books when I was a teenager, I stopped reading them because they became too boring and more about art than the story.

I find that with a lot of authors, they become popular because they write good stories and then they seem to disappear up their own bottoms and try to become more highbrow.

I am no intellectual, I like a good story that keeps me entertained. And yes I like Buffy too.

Its a good price for the book delivered, and I'm a huge twilight fan. I don't understand how some people can come on here and slander other peoples choice of reading matter. Its all down to personal choice surely - I'm not a big fan of many crime novels but I don't pull other people down for choosing to read them :?

Didn't realise HUKD had become a review site!! Must have got the wrong site as I thought it was about deals and not someone's opinion????

Not a bad deal, Book People and Red House far better, Tesco's and most other supermarkets also have the first 3 on £3.76 each or 2 for £7 if you can't be arsed to wait! Breaking Dawn is £8.

Oh and even if you are "well read" you'll enjoy these books, sometimes you want something a bit lighter, a bit different and just pure entertainment, not the greatest written books granted but I loved them!

The twilight books make me so mad. I hate bella, I hate edward, I hate......etc.
However I cannot honestly say don't read them. They bring out a level of anger based on how stupid the characters are and they are really stupid. Anything that can bring out emotion has something there......
*spoilers*

The Book People = Topcash 6% (1% more than Red House) + Topcash 1% (xmas bonus) + £7.99 (3 volume set, says £9.99 but price auto changes when in basket) + code "IS001" for 10% off + code "204A1H" for free delivery (save £3.50) = approx £6.63 :santa:
