Currently Lakeland are selling these for £13.99 so seems a good deal. Friend has used them and swears by them and money saving expert reviews are excellent for these. Appear to be much better than the wash balls that totally replace washing powder which are seemingly crap. Small intial outlay and you use 50-75% less washing powder so good for the environment!

Safe at all temperatures
Colourfast
Easy to use
Lasts forever
Save 50-70% on detergent bills
Environmentally friendly
Reduce drying time
Improve your washing machines efficiency

Does anyone have a clue how these work? I saw them advertised but couldn't think how you use them?!:?

Don’t you just put them in the machine with the washing, and just use less detergent

Also have you received your table & chairs yet

You chuck them in with the washing and they help pummel it about, increase scrubbing action and washing powder dispersal ... allegedly! Got radiators full of washing so can't test atm!

Bought a pack of these after succumbing to the hype and they are hellishly noisy!!!
I bought a direct drive washing machine to reduce the noise  so these drive me mad- also my washing machine had to keeep rebalancing itself during the spin cycle because of these balls In the end I had to take them out so it could finish the cycle properly!
I will stick with them for a while to give them a chance in different wash loads but I am not really impressed tbh.......I'll crawl back under my stone now.....

Test competed and sparkleworld is right .... noisy!!! That said washing came out cleaner with less detergent. So they are noisy ... but they are also eco friendly and then end of the world is gonna be a heck of alot noisier ;-)
