Hong Kong is an awesome place (especially now we Brtits have nmoved out & there's been some investment in the place!) I'd recommend a visit to anyone. If you have the stamina, 3 nights there will do, but if you can afford the time, stay a few more to see the surrounding areas, too.

We've already booked (four of us in total) to go in May (bank holiday as well!)

Just under £1000 for the four of us. Similar price once hotel is added in as Spain or similar. I know which I'd prefer.
One month later ant it would have been perfect, but too early for me :-(

Voted hot nevertheless! (< try spelling that now! :p )
am tryin to book a flight for 4 people between 31 march and 13 april 2007, return and economy but the price is over £1600, why is this?
Yeah discovered this new airline a while ago when it launched. Great prices, I really hope it does well. HK is my all time favourite place, been 5 times in the past and usually for 2 weeks or so. Anyone wanting a decent hotel without spending loads, I can reccomend the Hotel Majestic on Nathan rd, or those splashing out the Park Lane in Causeway Bay is a personal fave of mine.

*book early for the sub £300 returns, they sell fast*
Thanks for the pointer asinover :)

Hey Civic EG6

They work on a limited number of seats per flight allocated to fare 'types' (the class you see printed on a ticket - if there's a printed ticket these days!) anyway, so it could be you're choosing flights that are not necessarily full, but fully sold of this promo fare.

A lot of these travel sites now work a surge system whereby if many people check out the same flight, it considers demand high and will increase the minimum available fare. There's a tip if you're umming and ahhing (did I spell them right? :giggle: ) about dates when booking EasyJet or similar: donm't keep keying the same dates and details over and over... you'll do yourself out of the best fare because the system thinks there's high demand.

[pause for breath :-D )

Good luck in finding the cheap fares with Oasis... sounds like I'm not alone in thinking HK is worth the DVT risk.

Sorry Civic EG6 - forgot to add: your return date is out of the promo period, too. Last date 31 March 2007.
