Raw (1987): Uncensored. Uncut. Irresistible!

'Raw', the record-setting No 1 stand up concert film of all time, is Eddie Murphy doing what he does best: making people laugh!

Filmed live at New York's Felt Forum, Murphy delights, shocks and entertains with dead-on celebrity impersonations, observations on '80s love, sex and marriage, a remembrance of Mum's hamburgers and much more.

Take a front-row centre seat for the hottest show in town and the hottest comedian in recent entertainment history. And discover that Eddie Murphy's stand-up comedy performance is one standout comedy event.

Coming To America (Dir. John Landis, 1988): Eddie Murphy is a king of comedy and in John Landis' Coming To America, Murphy is also the Prince of Comedy - a very wealthy and pampered African prince who comes to America in search of a bride. Accompanied by his closest companion (Arsenio Hall), Murphy quickly finds a job, new friends, new digs, new enemies - and lots of trouble. Keep an eye out for both Murphy and Hall in some unforgettable cameo roles!

Trading Places (Dir. John Landis, 1983): Eddie Murphy established himself as a comedy superstar in his role as streetwise hustler Billy Ray Valentine. Fellow Saturday Night Live alumnus Dan Aykroyd co-stars as Louis Winthorpe III, a wealthy investment executive at Duke Brothers, a Wall Street firm. The fun begins when the rich and greedy Duke Brothers (Don Ameche and Ralph Bellamy) wager a bet over whether born loser Valentine could become as successful as the priggish Winthorpe if circumstances are reversed.

The Dukes have the money to make this happen, but when Valentine and Winthorpe catch on they arrange for a rich and riotous payback!

RAW is sooo funny - it doesn't matter that it's so old.

RAW is a pale and misogynistic copy of Richard Pryor’s work; I like Eddie Murphy but didn’t rate this much. I urge you to go and check out Richard Pryor - Live in concert from 78 or 79 for the real deal.

Anyone know if RAW has been remastered, I have a copy of the RAW dvd and the picture quality is bad and was wondering if this would be the same. The one I have looks like it has just been transfered from a vhs tape.
