amibeesamibees

When nursery teacher Jenny escapes to the country for a relaxing weekend away with her boyfriend, she is unaware of a romantic surprise he has in store. The location is perfect. A lake enclosed by woodlands, seemingly deserted. The scene is set for a picturesque proposal. But before the happy couple can enjoy the retreat, their peace is shattered by a gang of violent youths.

What begins is a shocking and unrelenting game of cat and mouse, as Jenny is forced to fight back against her aggressors.

one of the worst endings to a film I have ever watched.

Ending is pertty unbelievable and rubbish.

Ned behaviour all too believable nowadays.

Definately a disturbing film, so well worth a watch if you haven't seen it.

    Teacher lady pretty tasty too!

I was pleasantly surprised by this film. It was a very solid thriller that had more depth than I was expecting. But I agree, the ending was a bit silly, but I can see why the writer/director went with it.

Probably not to this extent, but you're not far wrong.

As a film, I find the idea of it disgusting though, it's torture porn basically just like Saw, Hostel and all that other crap.

They don't know how to make a decent horror film these days, so they churn out this garbage instead. Stephen King himself has said that it's a shameful and worrying epidemic which just seems to be growing worse all the time.

It's harrowing, and the ending was actually very suitable. It was social commentary on how neds get to become neds in the first place and how nedness continues to go unchecked.

i went to see this with my sister at Cinema, and she walked out at the first gorrie bit, not for the faint hearted!!!!!
    i liked it though!!

Because of course, Stephen King's books have never featured disturbing violence or grisly deaths or anything like that...

I don't think he's the best person to be quoting. And what's wrong with torture porn movies? Hostel 1 was a pretty decent, scary ride!

The only ending that is on par with The Mist for making you die inside. Dont watch this if you are in a good mood and want to stay that way.

Hostel was excellent, the first saw movie was very good with very little violence never mind extreme

Excellent film. I watched it very recently. Anybody outright slamming this film was probably expecting a typical, light-hearted "kill lots of people in sick and unique ways" horror film. You missed the point.

this is one of the best british horrors films in years, and i think the ending is right, depending where abouts you live it rings true-i know kids who have similar parents
