Hi,

Rugby is sooo expensive to go to normally, so a tenner for a first class game of rugger at Twickers has to be a bargin!!! Also just an 80p booking fee, rather than the other huge amounts ticketmaster charge!

All i need is a voucher for 50% off pints at the ground, should bring down a pint to something reasonable then, instead of the £4 the charge!!

I wonder if it'll be the same final again! Go Ospreys!
#3
Not this year.....can see an outsider like London Irish winning it.....possibly.....

If these are anything like the Guinesss ticket offers you will be in the gods (i.e. miles from the pitch) and have no choice over your seat. Then you have to factor in the cost of parking near Twickenham ... the last time I went it was £20 to park on a school field!

One advantage of Twickenham is that it's easily accessable from pretty much anywhere. Only a few minutes from the station and there's generally about 8 trains into London Waterloo per hour, with the average journey time of 25-30 minutes.

Either that, or drive to a few stops down the line by train, park for free in the residential areas and then get a £2 train over  Parking has always been a fortune at Twickenham, and the main reason is because people will always continue to pay it. Being in the location that it is, there isn't nearly enough spaces for the 82,000 people that go there.

Heck, Milton Keynes Bowl charged me £15 to park there last time, and that literally was in a field in the middle of nowhere!

I agree with oneguyslife...if you're prepared to walk 10-15 mins to get to the ground then there are plenty of places to park for free in residential areas near the ground.

Or alternatively save your tenner and put it towards the price of watching a proper game of rugby ;-)

Why aren't they playing at Wembley like they used to?! Would have loved to have gone.

tickets no longer on sale :x
#12
the power of HUKD!!! They had 17000, this morning!!! I hope people have brought them just for themselves and NOT to sell on. Thats not in the spirit!!! For those that have brought tickets feel free to search me out in the stand and buy me a beer!!!!
#13
hmmm - they're still on sale for me!

Thanks OP!

Also, Twickenham is in zone 6 so if you work in london and commute from zone 6 already travel will cost you nothing.

I saw Harlequins RL v St Helens earlier in the year and was a refreshing change from the segregated prohibitive atmosphere of a football match. But £10 for a game at the home of rugby, thats hot!
#15
Thanks v much, that's another two Christmas pressies sorted! Got good lower tier seats as well! :)

The Grand Final is always at Old Trafford, The Challenge Cup Final is at Wembley, you're probably getting mixed up with that.

The offer only seems to be available online not on telephone enquiries even though they put the telephone number in the promotional e-mail!

I rang Ticketmaster as the ALL Tickets £10 is a bit misleading. If you book online it only offers you seats in the south stand, and in block 31 in the corner, although they are in the lower tier.

Views at Twickenham are pretty good it has to be said so having paid £30 for middle tier tickets for last year's final (go Ospreys) this is still a good deal.
