Not a bad card at a very good price, but be aware it isn’t very powerful. Ii have this in my desktop and on our wireless N network it is just making 11 Mbps but my laptop with built in Wireless N makes 96Mbps fair enough it is going through a few walls but really does highlight why wireless N is so good. Not voting this card cold (actually hot due to the price) but I wanted to let people know that they might want to 'Invest' in a better setup.

This reminded me I needed an N PCI card and just found the above card for £7.99 inc super saver delivery: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Edimax-EW-7128G-Wireless-802-11b-Ralink/dp/B000KLNRBS/ref=dp_cp_ob_ce_title_2

now thats a good price!
Isn't the Amazon card G rather than N? (Edimax EW-7128G Wireless LAN PCI Card 802.11b/g 54Mbp (Ralink))

For my uses (dual-band N) the best card at reasonable price I found to be is the Linksys 600 one (~£30).

I'd rather use Intel ones (5100 is about £15) but I have not been able to source a mini-PCIe to PCIe adapter for desktop; there are plenty of cheap mini-PCI to PCI adapters but not for PCIe that I found.
bought one of these last week, great for the price. Much better than my belkin one.

Yes but it is the same as the post for a little less.
