Bought this for £11.99 on play.com a few months ago, looking to buy my second and found it for only £9.99 delivered on amazon!

Its a fantastic wireless card. Way better than any of the miniature USB things.

have an older pci card...near faultless in almost 2 years...edimax stuff is very good....best home network bran imo - better than netgear (sed to be good, but recent products are awful), dlink and any other brand

Sadly, this 3.5 year old PCI card doesn't do N-wireless - a shame because a tenner for an N-wireless PCI card would have been a very hot deal indeed. Not voting it cold though, because it's still a good price for an A/B/G card.

Run an Edimax USB WiFi adaptor on my PC and it's superb. Even across the other side of the house I can enjoy a completely uninterrupted connection all day long. Would buy another in a heartbeat.

our Edimax network switches didn't work when we upgraded to Windows 7.
Their technical support was useless , didn't return calls or even acknowledge the problem which was
solved by replacing with Novatech switches.

I have this exact model and I can vouch it works seamlessly with Windows 7 64bit.

I also have the same item, paid about £12 a few months back. highly recommended, very solid signal at all times and never crashes like previous USB adapters did. Mine's working fine on Windows 7 32 bit.

The n version is 50% extra for 3 x the speed.

This has the right chip but only one antennae , will be compatible , but no MIMO

BUY THIS

AND THIS

but it will only ever be 'three times as fast' under lab conditions

That adds up to ~£37, over three times the price. It will not be any faster, just possibly better reception.

The £9.99 one has a movable Ariel so depending where you position your computer and where your router is, it may actually be a much better (and obviously) cheaper alternative.
