Can I use it to extend my wifi (better coverage) AND to plug a network printer using LAN cable at same time?

Hmm, difficult to tell as it says wireless extender or wireless bridge.

This is either "Wi-Fi extender" which receives the existing WiFi and forwards it on (no cables, slower speed) or "Access Point" which takes a cable from your router and forwards it as WiFi (cable required, faster speeds).

AND to plug a network printer using LAN cable
This is "Wireless Bridge" which receives the existing WiFi and forwards it on via the cable.

at same time?
This would require the device to be operating as as a "Wireless Extender" and "Wireless Bridge" at the same time. The blurb on CCL is unclear about whether it can do this. The Edimax website for the product doesn't show a scenario where it is doing both. You might have to scour the Amazon reviews to see if someone mentions doing what you're after.

I got one of these from amazon (£13.63) delivered Monday and it cannot function as a wireless extender and bridge at the same time.

Is it any good? Easy to configure? Good signal? I'm tempted to buy a couple to use as wireless extenders with ethernet connections.

Configures through the free app - really easy to setup

Has anyone ever tried one of these extenders at the end of a 30m. extension lead? -- Did it work?

I'm using powerline adapter to run cctv network cameras around my grounds and there over 60m away, no issues, what I would say is powerline adapters don't like plug in chargers on the same ring main.

Probably depends on how good the EMI filtering is in said chargers; the cheaper they are, the worse it's likely to be.

Mains or ethernet lead, it should work fine with either.

You do know it's not a Power Line unit don't you? It will only work at the end of a 30m extension if it can still pick up your wifi signal.

In answer to the question you thought you were asking, I have run a Power Line wifi adapter at the end of a 50m cable extender very successfully. This is what you need

Ah - I was a bit confused by that question!
