It says online only but I had it over the phone for all 4 phones which 3 were already on EE and the other on Orange. This is only on for a limited time. Was told it will bring my bill down from my current £12.99 to £6.49 for each phone, nice little saving over 12 months.

If you have any existing EE contract, call them up and you can add an additional sim only with unlimited mins, unlimited text and the data is shared with your own for £5.00 . so if you have 10gb data.. you just share it.. I've added my mum and my son as additional sim only as they don't use much data..

ID Mobile are offering 1.5 GB for £5 a month on a rolling contract, granted only 250 minutes but seems better value.

Not sure why people are voting cold? I'm genuinely going to save £26 / month, £312 / year. I don't want to move from EE as I regularly use Wifi calls as I need to receive calls from landlines in no signal areas.

You may be saving a lot in your situation, but it's not actually a very good deal in itself.
I have just got an EE retention offer on their MAX plan (4GB, u/l mins and texts) including full European usage for £9.99/mth

This is a Web exclusive too, so you haven't been given anything special here

People are voting cold because you can get more for less elsewhere. Sorry OP but this isn't a good deal.

£12.99 for the same is absolutely ludicrous in comparison to what else is out there at the moment.

It's getting cold votes because it's not a great deal. 500mb of data is too low for the majority of users and for £6.50 a month there have been deals around with 2gb ish. You may have made a saving but you were being massively over charged previously.

Point taken I'll stick with this for 12 months and look for a better deal at that time. Appreciate your comments.

Agee with you. I've been paying £12.99 for around 2-3 years, goes to show it's worth checking on a regular basis.

The allowances are hilarious, that's why it's cold.

Because it's a terrible package for the price.

Shared plans are available to all EE customers if they have over 750MB data allowance, the standard cost is £12 a month and you get unlimited calls and texts, 12 month agreement

yeah, that's what I found point calling them. that's way more than £5. at £12 I can rather get a separate nice plan.
