I've been with EE with a miserable 500Mb data plan costing £12.99 pm for 12 months! and decided to get a new contract.

The retentions team offered me this amazing deal with pretty much everything I needed. Told them I was struggling to hold myself back with the data allowance and that I wanted to listen to music on the go.

So they gave me this (on the second offer!):

20Gb of data
Unlimited Calls
Unlimited Texts
4G - 60-90 MBps
Apple Music and BT Sport for 6 months
Full Tethering

All for £15 per month!!

I've not had any problems with EE where I live and definitely would recommend, though everyone has different experiences. Very happy.

Good luck! :)

Did they offer it straightaway?
#2
they gave that plan for £16.49 and I agreed will be ringing back
#3
I would also be interested in the timescale of events. I reluctantly cancelled my contract yesterday but before I take the plunge with another provider it would be interesting how long it took for their offer?

I called them just an hour ago, where they offered me this in that same call. So very quick :)
Good luck!

Did you call retentions and tell them you were leaving? I've tried this 4 times but they wouldn't budge
#7
Not bad, was about to cancel my family's EE sims and move to the BT family SIM, but it's made me think again.

cash back (quidco, amazon gc) makes it nearly free the first year with BT, and BT owns the same network and the phones work on both networks
Same prices the next year of service
may as well go BT

These guys don't budge when within contract. So if you are in a bad deal, you are stuck for the whole length. They won't let you migrate

Considering Plusnet and Sky will Soon be doing mobile contracts, Surely EE will give us a good price now ....;)

Ah, ok, thanks.
It wasn't clear on the cashback sites if it applied to Family SIMs... but if it does then it does indeed make it a no-brainer. Thanks

Got the same deal two days ago. I requested my PAC code and the retention team called me a few hours later offering me this. Also mentioned that you get 12GB of data to use in the EU each month which sold it for me

I think it depends on your usage. I told them about Three's All-you-can-eat unlimited calls/texts for £16 that was posted here and they matched it. But I think I got quite lucky for them to offer so quickly.

I struggled to get this deal.
Managed to get through to retentions who told me that this deal ended 2 days ago.
I told them I saw it on HUKD just today and was told that they would match it by giving me 12M SIM Max 20GB for £25 with a £10 month discount.

Not true. Recently upped my plan from 2GB to 10GB for an extra £5 a month! :)

got it Friday with 12 months sky and six months Apple music £14.99

Has anyone confirmed that this deal once your on it, is permanent and doesn't change back to full price after 12 months?
#19
Anyone also know if there's something higher than 60-90mbs speeds? In London, cat 9 should be launching soon with other cities soon to follow, which should allow up to 300mbps.
#20
Ok so I've just come of the phone to retentions.. my contract is due for renewal and they offered me this exact deal but she said it's only 500mins
#21
I use under 300 mins a month tbf but can anyone confirm if it is unlimited or 500 mins

I can confirm I got this as well ... finally ... with 12 months of BT Sport instead of 6

Funny they would only give me 3 months BT sports? and 500 mins. Still a far better deal than I was on. So have some heat.
#24
I can confirm that I just got this deal and infact a slightly much better deal.
Although it was a bit difficult for them to do and it took a bit of time to get the deal finalised.

I don't think they will be giving this to everyone and by the sound of it they don't want people knowing about this deal.

I called to get PAC call on Friday, wasn't offered this at the time or since so took Black Weekend's BT Mobile's 20gb for £15 PLUS £80 Amazon/iTunes voucher. Better deal.

How? I tried few times but they say you can upgrade to a handsets plan, but not a SIM only plan!

Hi are you saying you want to upgrade? If so I always say I want to cancel not upgrade as sometimes they only offer you certain deals when they hear the words cancel my contract lol

Thats true, the first guy who talked to me (pre retention team) said to me if you want to upgrade then you have to get 24 months with a handset, which is not true since the retention team said they didn't know what that guy was talking about! :D
I said to him that I would look for somewhere else then which he then passed me to the retentions team who were doing the discounts.

Keep trying & good luck!

Not true, only positive experience. Took out contract in February £24.99 per month for iPhone 6s 2GB Data, 1000 minutes and unlimited texts. Saw myself struggling with 2GB data so called them and asked how much would it be to add an extra gig and they offered 5GB of data, unlimited mins, unlimited texts and also unlimited mins and texts and 500MB data when abroad in EU, all for an extra pound, £25.99!
#33
Its ok if you can get 4g which in my area is impossible, fastest EE is modem speed.

seems pointless to put on here if it's a personal deal for you
#35
it only took a couple of hours after receiving Pac code to get a call from retentions, offered same deal on Monday. I switch 6 months Apple music for a full year of bt sport. also have 15gb of European data a month.
1 Like #36
I called up and asked for my PAC code and they asked if I had seen a better deal elsewhere. I said yeah with BT for unlimited everything and 20gb data for £15 pm The agent said no problem I can match that for you.

I asked for roaming data to be included so they moved me to the 4GEE max plan which comes with 15gb roaming data and the ability to use my mins and texts in EU countries all for £15.

Also threw in 6 months Apple Music and 12 months BT Sport. Bargain

I have done exactly that - currently on 2gb with EE and just moved to BT on this deal with cashback and £80 card

I got this offer on Monday as I was already on the 20gb data plus unlimited mins and texts for past year for £20 (from last years threaten to leave) so they issued me my PAC code saying they can't do any better so I took the PAC code. 3 hours later they call back and say they can offer me my same plan for £14.99 plus a years bt sport so I said ok. Within an hour I called back to say my NHS discount has been removed so after speaking with his manager he has put back on and said I will now be paying £11.99 for 20gb data (15 Euro roaming) unlimited mins and texts plus a years full bt sports, I asked what will happen after a year he said you can call back to upgrade or keep paying £11.99 per month but every April it will be adjusted but that's only a few pennies
#39
They rang me on black Friday offering me sim only contracts as I'm due an upgrade and the lowest he could do was £20 for this exact deal. Should I just request my PAC and see if they ring back?
