Wouldn't sell me without a contract, but gave me the device for free as I said I didn't need it til Feb for my caravan. Signed up for £12, will cancel on my lunch break. At least I can wire it in and test it I guess.

DO NOT BUY!

You can't cancel immediately, you have to wait a fortnight to cancel and then wait 30 days therefore always paying 2 months worth. The woman at EE said they do this a lot as they get commission for every contract signed up, and to go back to currys and kick off basically.

I was told similar once by EE too, rang back and spoke to someone else and after being transferred through their system few times got it cancelled.

Good call, tried someone else and they agreed to submit the 30 days today and confirmed I'd only get charged once.

Have an osprey was thinking of upgrading but put off because you have to physically wake the device after 30 mins none use. I like the form factor but the always on of the original means ill pass this time

so overall cost for the device £4.99+ £12 = £17

subject to credit check as well.

Rang EE customer support and told them i found a better deal. So they cancelled it and my final bill will be generated on 26/12/16 for the £12. I can use the sim until 26/12/16.

Seems to be £9.99 now. really irritating as I have already reserved twice, my wife has been in twice. The first time they couldn't find it, in fact they brought out a camcorder. The second time the disinterested sales assistant was reluctant to do the contract 'it will take about half an hour,' so it was left for me to go in today. Not too keen to do so. Heat for the deal but Currys PC World customer service seems really poor.

£9.99 online but just seen it in Kingston upon Thames still says £4.99 on there shelves so made them honour it. :)
#26
Is it still this price ??
#27
9.99 now

Once you have device unlocked how do you use other providers for the WiFi provision? Data sim?
What's difference between this device and a mobile phone data sim?
