Not bad, im currently on unlimited texts and mins 5gb for £12 and never finish the data. The roaming data bit might be the trigger if i can also get them to offer it to me for £14.99

Got it for £14.99 after requesting pac code.

My contract ends on the 24th December and all I want is a sim only deal now. Did you just phone them up and ask for your PAC code and they offered this or did you push them? Thx.

missed their call after requesting for a PAC code. so just going to have to wait again

Does this include lte advanced? EE extra/double speed or whatever they call it?

Up to 60mbps sounds like it has limited speed.

Got 20gigs max plan (no speed limit) with 15gb EU roaming data, free BT sport (not for 6 months) for £19.99 after asking for PAC
#7
EE wouldn't touch em, worst network for me!
#8
got it yesterday £14.99 with one year sky sports and 6 months apple music after asking for PAC code

if you don't mind normal 4g speed at 30mb, go for BT deal at £20 with an £80 Amazon voucher and 1yr BT sport, works or just over £13 a month.

This is only up to 60mbps. The faster EE offering is 90mbps. I rang up yesterday and the EE agent blatantly lied to me trying to get me to sign up to this. She claimed this was their top speed tariff. If you check their website, it clearly isn't.

EE apparently have the maximum 4G speed. and >30MBps is considered high speed.
Nevertheless I'm waiting for 5G ...IMPATIENTLY!

They would not do it for me unfortunately despite getting the PAC code.

There are different tariffs that allow different max speeds. You obviously want the fastest one.

Keep pestering them. They will give in.

Requested PAC. Seen this post. I already have an additional line which doesn't end till next year. So I rang back and said I know your offering £16.49 to people so can you not look + see what you can do . put me on hold and said OK. could have pushed for £14.99 but felt £16.49 was good enough

Got 25gb EE 4GEE max speed inc 15gb EU data, unlimited mins & text and 6 months BT sport and Apple Music for same price yesterday

requested pac and they offered 20gb for 15 and 4gb on the max plan for 8, was told ill be able to move to the other plan whenever
#22
Do you need to request the PAC code THEN ask them for the deal you want? Because I'm confused on how to get the deal; is it possible to move a phone number on to an additional line?
#23
Firstly you must get your pac code from retentions, this meens to them your serious about moving. The code will last 30 days ish and if you don't use it your current tariff will just carry on as normal.
Retentions will offer you a deal which may be good but maybe not as good as the outbound team who is the last line in the companys defence to keep you as a customer.
Its just a waiting game until they ring

I just called up and asked for the PAC code, they asked if they could match anything so i mentioned the BT deal unlimited everything plus 20gb for £15. They said they could match it. In the end i got the following

Unlimited mins
Unlimited Texts
20gb 4G (no cap on speeds)
12gb EU romaing
Roaming mins and texts
12 months BT sport
6 months Apple music

£15 pm 12 month contract

I just rang. Wouldn't budge from the £19.99 Black Friday deal. Shame as I would take 2 lines at £14.99 a month but we never got that far into a negotiation...

That's odd cos when i click on the link it shows the deal as reduced (existing customers) from £31.99 to £16.49 unlimited everything and 20GB standard without even having to go down the retention road
#27
I've just done the same thing and I see that deal - wonder why they wont offer that at retentions at the minimum - I want the £15 though.

This is a very hot deal. Just wondering if you were out of your contract when you got this? I tried calling today to get something similar but the operator wouldn't budge from £20 for 20GB. My contract ends next month so maybe because i'm still in a contract with EE they won't offer such a deal :{

I was out of my contract when I called by about 5 months. I called up yesterday for something else and the woman in retentions said 'wow you got a really good deal loads of people have called up asking for this and we've been refusing them'

Cheers for this. I just got off the phone with EE and they offered me the exact same as yourself, just 15GB roaming instead of 12GB. Snapped their arm off and took the deal! Wait it out and they will call back, or should do at least :)

Nice one, I actually found out its also 15gb. Its a bit of a mess the way ee do the retention deals, they have to find a similar deal and throw on bits and pieces. So you could be on a deal that costs £30 a month with 15gb data but its discounted by £15 with a bonus of 5GB. My bills always ends up looking a mess.

Anyway I kind of figured out how it works for the roaming data and those who are on 500mb. Essentially there are 3 type of monthly plans

EE4G Essential plan 0 roaming data
EE4G plan 500mb roaming data
EE4G Max plan (use your data allowance abroad but if your data is 25gb or 40gb then its capped at 15gb when using abroad)

http://ee.co.uk/help/add-ons-benefits-and-plans/call-or-going-abroad/roaming-customers-after-17th-august-2016

In a nutshell when you call up for the deal make sure they put you on a 4GEE MAX PLAN
