it's a mobile router. so you can connect to wifi on the go. it uses mobile data
#5
I presume you can use this without the supplied mini wifi box? ie: just stick the sim in a phone or alternative 4g router?

What does that little square thing do?

It does online banking, shopping, kids homework, mumsnet, car repair videos, YouTube recipes while dad does porn ;)
Just buy it!
OK, it's like your home broadband Internet router, but with mobility

This would be nice on a shorter contract. Rolling or even 12 months. Anyone had any success with this on chat for example?

in the right area this would be great as a fibre alternative
unfortunately ee is 2g here and with 5 us doing around 2tb a month it wouldnt cut it :(
#11
that's a LOT of data

I'm the same IRONM4N_UK i live in a rural area broadband speed is crap but mobile mifi works great but no provider with enough data
#13
I like this deal voted hot I'm currently on the 50gb Vodafone deal as they are the only network to penetrate our block of flats it's good to see higher usage deals coming along
#14
This is not enough for heavy users. If you are streaming movies and downloading content this will soon run dry..... I'm waiting for the day this could be used as an alternative to home broadband as the speeds far exceed that of my home BB provider....

U get unlimited from talktalk?? Mobile wifi??

Nah llu is local loop unbundled it's fixed line basic ADSL max at 17mbps i wouldn't take that anyway it's just a guideline i have when taking a mobile broadband deal. I have 12 phones some are eBay broken SIM phones and i always carry my data in the osprey with me. I've been waiting 5 months for this EE deal
