Unlimited data?

Yup, I signed up for this a few days ago. 100% unlimited.

Apparently it can take up to 3 months to get the voucher through. I just hope the speeds are reasonable in South London! Can't argue with the price though.

Heat added.

It's not EE's fault the engineer didn't turn up BT Openreach are a law to themselves and are the only people who can service the telephone lines, I admit though EE's customer service has a lot to be desired but your get the same problem with any telephone company as they all have to use open reach.

imo I would avoid this at all costs.

Not unlimited p2p is throttled to basically 0 after 5pm

I don't understand why people are encouraging other to avoid as if it was the plague.. It's fine for areas that get 1-3mb on any provider, and at £30-40 a year it's a steal considering the next cheapest is £200odd. How often are you needing to use the customer service? As stated by ben, if it's a line fault it's BT fault. Any other issues can be fixed yourself with some know how and time. P2P wise, if your in an area with 1-3mb your barely going to p2p anyway as it's slow as.

Hot deal.

have warned ppl many times of EE broadband, you get what you pay for. Constant drop outs, slow speeds, you will end up pulling your hair out. I am paying £2.50 per month and never again!

I signed up a week ago through tcb but it didn't track =(

Submit a claim? I noted down IP address and every other thing under the sun in case it didn't track so I would have a bulletproof claim. Seems to have a good success percentage of manual claims, good luck :)

I wouldn't bother with EE I had basic unlimited broadband and it was crap then I upgraded to fibre optic unlimited and there wasn't much difference and now I'm stuck in a 18 month contract. Virgin media for me next time

It might be BT's fault the engineer never turned up but when u phone EE at 5o'clock
to make sure the engineer is coming and they can't even phone engineer to confirm then they are partly at fault.

I signed up via TCB a few months ago and it didn't track. The claim asked for the first bill reference number, but I received two 'first' bills, one for the order of the router and one with the actual upfront line rental one. So I gave them both reference numbers and the claim has just come back a few days ago saying that I have provided an incorrect reference number. I've replied back with every single number/reference possible and just waiting to hear back again, will be so annoyed if the claim isn't honoured.

Mine didnt track either and it took 6 weeks for my broadband to be connected after plusnet pulled the [plug on switchover, nightmare service !

Luckily i recorded phone call so my cashback was paid and i got 3 months credit and its worked perfectly the last 16 months.

Fingers crossed peeps :)

TCB tracked for me within minutes. Always clear yer cookies before making a purchase!

Broadband switched from Sky to EE yesterday, now I keep getting dropouts for no apparent reason, it is sooooo annoying.

Like previously stated, you get what you pay for!
#23
I was assured the dropouts were fixed with their new box when they tried to get me to sign a new contract the other day. Obviously not. Traffic management is also brutal.
#24
Garbage totally garbage I wish I could get shot drops out all the time especially after a phone call they say its rein well it never happened for ten years on sky or BT wi dump asap

This deal or one very similar, has been posted before. I signed up for this and so far, so good, I have no complaints against EE. Got £136.50 which has tracked via Top Cashback.

For those whose cashback has not tracked, my advice is cancel the transaction. Then re-apply. if it fails to track again, you just have to be suspicious, don't you? I am beginning to wonder whether these cashback websites are telling people that their transaction has not registered, when in fact it did! Because when I query why by raising a ticket, the details of the transaction are already there on the website!!!! Thus they are fully aware of the transaction, giving even the time it took place as well as the date! If you don't query it, the cashback site gets all the commission and you get nothing!

EE broadband is a steeming pile of s**t had it for 11 months and bearly get 2mb a second.. my phone has a faster connection than this on 3G.....

I looked into getting this, with plusnet last two years and good service.
But the deal looked to good to miss.Anyway rang plusnet for Mac code, and they Offered to match deal.
Paid £131 for line rental,in advance,then £2.50 a month for unlimited broadband.
I was still looking to move,as £120 Amazon was tilting the balance toward EE,but after looking at reviews of constant problems,I decided to take plusnets offer. So still saved £156 for the 12 months, and know my service is reliable.

We're not amateurs! ;)

I use a separate browser solely for cashback, and of course I clear everything before each and every purchase :)

The actual broadband is fine for me, no dropouts, excellent speed - I just want my cashback!
