What is the likelihood of them disowning this deal when I phone ?

Contract is up on 9th march so this may be too early for me.

I rang yesterday and they only offered 2 gig data 12.99 a
Month
#6
Do you have any proof would certainly like to ring them and ask but feel they would deny it

why's this cold, its a great deal!
#8
Is it this price for the full 12 months of the contract?

In the past, EE have offered Super Sims where it is half price for 6 months, BUT reverts to full price for the remainder of the contract!

why's this cold, its a great deal!

Because there is no guarantee anyone other than the OP can get this deal.

Wife called them yesterday to negotiate and the best that she got for £9.99/month was 4g sim: 1Gb with unlimited texts and minutes.

She was haggling for ages and that was the best that they could do. Any proof of the 5gb data allowance?
#12
I was told this is a new deal today. £9.99 a month for the duration. Give them a call if you're ready to leave and see if you get offered the same deal. Good luck.
#13
I just called up and the guy just laughed lol
#14
However I will add I know a mate who got offered the same deal 3 months ago but for 6 months then it goes up. I'll try ring later and ask for pac code and see if that helps
#15
What number do you call?
#16
thats a great deal...I have the same only its 3g data
#17
Great deal for OP - I'd settle for that price for 2GB data. Best price website offers me is £12.99 for the 2GB package.

just rang the guy thought I was joking.
OP seriously needs to check if irs is for 12 months. as I reckon price will creep up after 6 months.
ring up & check as it looks like you have been missold judging by EE reputation.

Yip, I think this is right. My wife got her pac code and everything and the best for £9.99/month on 4g is with only 1Gb data.

This this deal here is non existent, I'm afraid.
#24
Shame 19 minutes 8 seconds and absolutely no chance of getting this deal! Best they could do for £9.99 for me was 500mins, unlimited texts and 500mb data. I have my PAC code!
#25
brrrrrr chilly for being a retention only

Yeah got the same when I asked for PAC, they'd only offer pretty much what was standard deals, they said to me take it or bye bye

Incorrect, that's T-Mobile 3G only data and the plan has been around for quite a while, nothing special.

Funny echo around here.

I got my pac code too, not even an effort to offer any retention. I was offered ultd texts, 500 mins and 500 mb data for 12.99

I've been a customer for nearly 10 years with 3 lines and they could offer me nothing remotely competitive or better then their website prices. Will be taking the other 2 lines elsewhere when they are up.
#34
Problem is, I can't find any other network that can beat £9.99 for 1gb 4G unlimited texts and calls that's whybthe wife signed up again.

Mine is up soon and tbh the reception with EE is rubbish at home and work but other networks don't come close to this price

That's the retention deal I accepted last week. It does have 4G and tethering, so not too bad.

same number which went straight to 02

my other half was offered 2gb data and a 1000 mins for 11.99 p/m on rolling monthly contract by the retentions team who call you back after you get your pac code. she just said she was going for the 12p/m giffgaff deal with 1gb of 4g and that she wasn't sure how much data she'd use if she had a much faster connection so didn't want to be locked into a contract. When they say "but ee has the fastest 4g of any uk network" your reply should be "I'm not bothered about that, I just want to save money on my bill."
#38
Believe it or not, I actually got this deal today! So heat added by me as it worked for me.

What I did was ask for my PAC code, which they gave to me. Then the next morning (this morning) I got a phone call from a chap from T-Mobile saying he is high up in retentions and they want to reward me for my 5 years of loyalty to T-Mobile. His actual words were "Tell me what you want and how much you want pay" he couldn't offer me unlimited data for £9.99 but closest he could do was 5GB of data which I'm happy with. He also included free calls to 080 numbers and free voicemail. It is a 12 month contract too.

I told him I was leaving for TalkTalk who are offering 2000 minutes, unlimited texts, and 4GB of data for £10 a month. Just thought I'd update you all and tell you what to say.
