I went into an EE shop tonight to renew my girlfriend's contract that was expired 6 months ago.
The manager first offered a standard contract (available to everyone) then "found" a promotional contract available to existing customers but he said he would have offered to me too.
It's Sim only 12 months contract with 5Gb of 4G data and unlimited txt and minutes at £21.99 per month, 1/2 price for the first 6 months so you pay £11.00 for the first 6 months.
£197.61 for the whole year or £16.50 per month.

The manager said you can go back in the shop on the 6th month and renew the contract upgrading it to a another available offer.

Looks ok to me

Saw this in around Birmingham, better off going with 3 as they offer more for the same price or cheaper.

Was offered this deal in October and am now a few months in to my 12 months contract. It's a good deal but keep an eye on the payments coming out of your account. First month the payment was £11 as it should have been but the second month was full price and I've had to chase them to rectify.

12 months sim only deals on THREE website are currently more expensive than this one

Poor network
One of the worst CS - you will spend hours waiting just to get through
They do lie!
They keep jacking up their prices at the drop of a hat...without notice. They cover themselves on T&C.
I was offered same contract 3 months ago but with 9GB on 4G per month. Decided to dump them instead. Well pleased to see the back of them after being with them for over 5 years (T mobile).
That's my experience with them.

PS: "The manager first offered a standard contract (available to everyone) then "found" a promotional contract available to existing customers" - that offer has been around for months for existing customers, nothing new. With a push he should have given you 9G or 10G ( as Gavinlew, above mentions... it comes under their Super Sims deals..)

not true, its written in the contract to happen every march, not at the drop of a hat, and all the networks increase mid plan, they have done for years

They jacked up prices before Ofcom’s new rules on mid-contract price rises. Then again after that - March. There's been a massive increase in the number of complaints against EE - not without reason!

NB: after 6 months you can only upgrade to a "higher" plan or higher phone plan.

Is this Super sim deal available on a second line for existing EE contracts?
#16
I was offered the same deal but on the phone they added and extra 3gb data (ongoing until you change price plan / doesn't expire after 12months).
Also confirmed it was 8gb @ Double speed 4G - just need to find myself a decent CHEAP 4G phone....?
