What % of the battery does this offer? Makes a massive difference in price, if it's below 50% not really worth buying
#2

Depends on phone, if its an s3 mini say its 125% extra battery, on a tab is more like 20%

Output is only 500mA, so slow charging for today's power hungry phones. Also very little capacity for the price.

Get it for half price, the same design on eBay with higher battery capacity.

Or get this beauty, which is 10,000mAH, 5 x the capacity of this and costs about £12 if you know where to look.

I'm no expert on battery specs, but when you look at the iphone 5s battery capacity here and the Samsung Galaxy S5 battery capacity here it seems to compare quite favourably (1560 mAh and 2800 mAh respectively). Also it seems that the iphone wall charger puts outputs at twice the capacity of this charger. IMO, for a battery powered mobile charger, I think that's not bad for a tenner.

£8 or so at the link above. Mods will probably remove the link as they don't get £££ from those sites.

I'm not saying it is a bad deal, but I would rather pay a fraction more for a battery of the capacity of maybe 10,000mah or 13,000mah from Anker or TeckNet.

Better off getting the PNY one from Currys i reckon. Costs 1.50 more but has a 1A output and 2600mAh capacity making it significantly more useful. I've had one for a few months and its been pretty good. Although it cost 5.99 when i bought it.

i like my pny one but had a quick look on ebay and currys now sell 'em for £11.99. i'd not buy any of the many unbranded ones from china as i like my gadgets not on fire but unless size is all-important i'd go for 10k+ mAh capacity in future

If you want a small power bank try this - a bit higher capacity, higher output rate and a well known name

EasyAcc® 2600mAh All-in-One Power Bank £9.99

Add something like this 50p sim card for free delivery

it is only 2000mah with 500MA output, it could be the lowest specification on the marker

check the following product
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00EAOGYNY

it is 3000mah, 1A output, Samsung battery cell, only 10.97
