Wow. I'm so surprised that people would actually consider Egypt a holiday destination at the moment.
They can sentence 500 people to death at once, or put journalists in jail on false charges. I wonder if anything happened whilst you were there, would the UK government be able to help you.

I guess some people don't have a conscience when they are on holiday.

Better leave the UK.... I remember the Guildford Four

Where to go, where to go...

Can't go to the US where people have been 'executed by the police'

Can't go to Spain - age of consent in that country is 14!

France - don't even go there - Muslim terrorists on every street corner at the moment

Very nice resort. it has 21 pools with 2 heated pools. Each bungalow accommodates 2 adults and 2 kids (there is a partition between a king sized bed and two single beds). It has 8 restaurants. Also kids' entertainment programme. TripAdvisor has useful tips about which bungalow number to go for (I think we went for bungalow number 1100, which was central to everything). Free WiFi only at the hotel lobby (at least that was the case 2 years ago).

You are right...My visit was before the military coup. I would not go now..... not because it is not safe..but because of the principle that my visit would be a support for an oppressive military regimen that has sentenced more than 1000 people to death so far, arrests journalists, shoots demonstrators and has recently started to try civilians in military courts....shame as it is a very nice country.

you should also avoid Scotland as we were attacked by terrorists at Glasgow airport thankfully there was a jock nearby to kick the burning terrorist in the balls and save the day.

Been here. Can vouch that it is excellent. Water park is good, has plenty of restaurants and no need to go out of the resort other than excursions. In August it was almost too hot. Would recommend a cooler time but not too cold to enjoy the water park.

Went here in 2010 absolutely amazing place didn't see the kids for hours. great accommodation and restaurants. would go back in a heartbeat.

Been to Egypt twice and really enjoyed it. Lovely climate and very nice people in the Hotel Bit pushy in Naama.,but i suppose you have to expect that. However, as much as i like the prices i will not go there again. If you are unlucky enough to be involved in any incident, whatever it may be, your on your own. I hesitate to state the obvious but religion and beliefs are causing many issues in these countries So America or Europe seems a better bet to me. Yes i know problems happen everywhere but personally a place like Egypt is no longer on my itinery. I probably sound like a wimp, but as stated before i will support the economy elsewhere. A real shame though, Lovely place to visit.

Been 5 times and always been safe , but I can see something happening with tourists again there , don't forget the bombings there not to long ago .

Fantastic hotel for children, we have stayed there and at the sister hotel Aqua Blu.

The food was varied but not the best but the rooms and facilities were great.

The waterpark is worth paying to visit. Always felt 100% safe and ventured out every other day.

Don't be silly now. If you're ever stuck in the middle east because of some procedure or some incident, you'll remember my words.

Not safe to go in Egypt now,Morocco or Tunisia are more safer

If you worry about what could happen you would never leave the house.

I have been to Egypt six times since 2007 (including being there when the uprising happened in Jan/Feb 2011) and am going again at the end of the month. I have never seen any problems and when there I always feel as safe as any other country I have visited.

Just returned from here 3 weeks ago. I have travelled throughout egypt and always felt safe. The hotel is amazing and would recommend it to all

Stayed here last year and the pools and hotel are excellent and as we went in term time paid over 4k for four of us so this is a good deal. Food is dodgy and caters more for russian and german diets but other than this would highly recommend.

I can see the roof of the hut/room that I stayed in on the right of the picture the OP posted. There are a handful of rooms surrounding this pool for use by those rooms. You can also use any of the other numerous pools. It really does have best of both worlds. Plenty of facilities and variety of pools but if you want peace and quiet then just lounge outside of your room next to the pool.

£650pp for family of 4 during Feb half term. This is a fab hotel. Went 2 years ago and can't wait to go back. Kids loved it.
