Really hot, price and the weather.

We went to Egypt in July back in 2007, the hotel had an electronic thermometer by the pool most days it was 54 degrees in the sun and 44 degrees in the pool.

or rather, what do you mean by that

Not a big sharm fan but a good deal.

I laughed at the kevlar comment. Seems to have calmed down now from when we went in march.

Was there 3-4 weeks ago. safe as anywhere else. no violence at all.

shame the locals are scammers and con artists but that's a different story.

Its still Sharm-el-Sh*ts either way though.

I went again a month ago having hated it a few years back and was pleasantly surprised. shops were alot less pushy I'n Neema bay, we actually had a laugh with the haggling.
Weather was great and the tour operators had just started trips back to Cairo. They will cancel them with any hint of violence.
Although Cairo is pretty much a dump from last time I went, choose Luxor instead, apparently much better for Egyptian history.

Must be barking mad to go in July!

just come back 2 weeks ago from the grand at sharm it was 46 deg in the day and over 30 deg at 23:00pm great hotel and staff I did scuba 2 times went to ice bar camel ride quading all the excursions u can do it was great apart from getting the trots if u do go I would recommend repell 100 for the mozziz and try booking through golden ticket holidays they use redsea reps like Thomas cook

golden ticket travel

Sharm will be very quiet at the moment because most countries governments are still not recommending travel there because of the threat of terrorism.
Last time I went it was full of rude arrogant Russians , I've been three times and I think my last visit will indeed be my very last its just to much hassle with the taxis , shopkeepers and the locals trying to con you and make a quick buck from you.

Could someone please help me, im having a blonde moment )
Where at checkout do you enter the code,?
Ive just gone through the booking process via holiday tab on TC website as required (different holiday to this one but still over £800 ) as per the code requirements ,I then clicked on get quote etc, it then took me to page where I input all passenger details etc, but never saw any box to enter a promo code,?

The next box was to confirm and pay, so obviously came out of it at the point to get advice here,
Any help much appreciated
Thanks

Thanks
Just re done and still no option for code
maybe im in wrong page, I can get as far as entering all personal details etc, then next section is for card details, then a button underneath says confirm and pay,
is there another page after that? I am worried about pressing that button in case it just confirms and takes payment before deducting the £75 code
Thanks

I am still having problems ,
I have tried cleaning the cookies on computer etc, but still mine shows a different page to one kindly posted above,
I dont get the option to pay a deposit box, I just keep getting one option of paying now, even though the holiday isnt until November, so deposit option should be available,

It doesnt do anything if I try unticking the pay now box either ,
I will get my boyfriend to try and see what the problem is,

thanks anyway,
