Mmmm, not really a good deal for a 'used' laptop, acceptable if it was new :?
I'd say it should be more £199 than £229, then a reasonable deal if you're on the tightest of budgets. Though for £25 more, there are better deals available within HUKD

Just noticed Vista and shared graphics, this would limp along like a 3 legged dog pulling a sledge. Needs a min of 1gig ram, that will push the deal sub £250! If you had to go for it, ask for the option of Windows XP if available, before dealing.

I agree wait for a dell deal or something, not exactly an ideal spec for vista and used.
Would run xp fine tho. Also it's annoying these companys selling items clearly not capable of running vista properly with out further upgrades voting cold shame on you Dixons.

This for a start...

Posted previously on HUKD - Few pounds more but brand new.
As already stated, vista needs a minimum of 1gb of memory. Only buy this laptop if you intend to update the memory (be aware that these range of machines usually only have one memory slot), or intend to wipe it and put XP on.

Vista is a thirsty operating system, a dual core system, strong graphics and 1gb of memory should be considered the minimum, anything less needs to be XP.
