Thanks Joggerspark :)

I've copied the review from Amazon.

Amazon.co.uk Review
Not funny enough to be called a spoof, not scary enough to be outright horror, Eight Legged Freaks is a curious effects-filled pastiche of those mutant B-movies of the 1950s and 60s. The plot is of the standard small-town-overrun-by-giant-spiders variety, after the little critters have been exposed to leaking radiation naturally. Local boy made good David Arquette has returned to the town to make amends with the woman he loves (feisty Sheriff Kari Wuhrer) and to stop the dastardly mayor from selling his father's mine. But before he can sort that out, there is a lot of bug squashing to be done as the CGI spiders cause all manner of havoc and mayhem.

Eight Legged Freaks is admittedly a lot of fun, and there are some great set-pieces to enjoy, including a gang of teenage dirt bikers escaping a horde of jumping spiders. It's also quite gory in places, though with only a couple of decent shocks it's hardly likely to induce large-scale arachnophobia. The spiders are impressive but the CGI is painfully obvious and it never feels real. However, if you can suspend your disbelief for an hour and a half you will enjoy this pacey, fun and action-filled popcorn flick. It doesn't ever take itself too seriously and is certainly a lot more fun than producer Dean Devlin's other genre entries, Godzilla and Independence Day.

Again again again......

Would people be kind enough to say why they leave cold vote. Cold vote is not really meant to be left when you dont LIKE a deal or dont want to buy. Its a measure of how good a deal is.

The cheapest price I could find is what joggerspark has posted. Why the cold vote then?

Please do think about the OP especially when they dont personally benefit anything other than a rep :)

This isn't a bad film even if it's a bit tongue in cheek :)

I second edi's statement above too:

Thanks for this joggerspark ;)

It wasn't me that cold voted but if whoever did thinks the film is a heap of crap and isn't worth this price, even if it is the current lowest one around, then isn't that a measure of how good the deal is too?

If everyone on the planet went mental and the cheapest you could find a box of matches this week was £83.50 and someone posted it, couldn't someone vote cold and suggest using a lighter? If the deal isn't worth the money, in whoever voteds opinion that is, then it surely doesn't matter that it's the cheapest available?

Personally I didn't think this film was all that bad but I wouldn't vote either way for the deal as unless it's a 'serious' saving then I'm full capable of using www.find-dvd.co.uk It does get a tad tedious people just using another websites search function to find the best deal then posting it here. Why not just have a permanent link to that site?

Artemis, the cold vote is there to be used, but it's often hit as soon as some members post any deal. Those who do use it, should just leave a note as to why they have.
