  The lawnmower on it's own without the strimmer has a good review (catalogue no 211-6180) and is reduced from £58.58 to £29.29, so you are effectively getting the strimmer for 71 pence!

  we've had einhell lawnmower similar to this for like 15 years, then one of the wheels broke off.
  
  so not that bad, if you don't abuse it.
  
  but it might be that back then, the manufacturing quality was better even for budget stuff.

  These are not German made, they are re-badged Chinese mowers. Einhell are based in Germany but the only German item on this mower is the name Einhell.

  Einhell make a lot of the Lidl own-brand stuff. Parkside or something like that.

  If you do a little research you'll find that Einhell specify and design their own products. Yes, they are produced in China but they are not generic, re-badged items. I have a number of Einhell products which get plenty of use and perform and last well given what they cost.
  
  I haven't got one of these lawnmowers, so cant comment specifically on these but in general I'd have no hesitation in recommending Einhell gear.
