Freezing cold. This has been £17.43 on Steam before so not the biggest discount. Also the Legendary Edition (which includes all add-ons and will qualify you for the free upgrade to the Special Edition) is cheaper just about everywhere you look - £19.99 in the Humble Store, £17.29 on GMG, £13.32 at Game, £10.99 at CDKeys, £9.99 on Amazon (if you have Prime or buy it with something else £10.01 or more), and £7.98 on G2A - and even that seems expensive as I'm sure I paid around £5 for this. Prices must have gone up in anticipation of the free upgrade, which I'm really looking forward to. Between that and the BioShock remasters I don't think I'm going to have time to play any new games this Q4.

I genuinely don't get why we've had so many threads off the back of the 'free upgrade' for Skyrim. All that upgrade's adding is visual improvements which have been available via mods for years now. Honestly I'd be willing to bet this upgrade still won't be as good as some of the mods out there and won't even make a difference to most people playing it on PC.

It's definitely not enough to make Skyrim for £25 a good deal by any stretch for me.

It's not quite *just* a visual upgrade, as the Special Edition has 64-bit support so can use more RAM, presumably with a potential performance improvement - but that technicality aside, I really can't disagree.
