Personally I just wanted a nice fire display, don't intend to use it for heat as the TV is directly above it but have tested it and it is very warm. Fantastic price for what looks like a really expensive fire.

Power 2kW (2000W) - 2 heat settings: 1000W and 2000W
Black curved tempered glass front panel
Remote control including on/off, heat setting and dimmer
Safety thermal cut-off device

wall mounted bracket included

If you're not gonna use it for heat why not just put the TV lower down the wall and play a DVD of a fire?

Epic fail.

I knew that when I just spent £1200 on new Surround sound to go with my 50" Plasma that the best thing for it would be a fire DVD.......

A 'fireplace' that doesn't heat the room? Whatever floats your boat. I thought those fireplace DVDs were enough of a waste of money, but this takes it to a whole new level!
