<£699 Boxing Day
And if it isn't ?
New models out Mar/Apr this will deffo be sub 700 after Xmas, (research previous years)
umm, about that...
Honestly, wait until after CES. Might find the KS8000 is slightly more affordable too :) That has better local dimming and motion (apparently).

Also I'm not sure how good the KS9000 is going to be, but one of the main improvements is in the software (something I couldn't care less about!) and the new QLED (similar to what already exists). That said this is from the rumour mill so may be b***ocks!
Spend extra £230 and get the Hisense 65M7000.
I cannot justify to spend double the price for high TVs and I cannot see any difference in the picture watching HD/4K between high TVs and the Hisense TVs.

Cold for me.

Jees surpised Currys have jumped back up to £999 after reading the various comments about their stock levels.
Surely they will drop straight back down within a few days?
I've been so indecisive on this TV!
They have jumped up to £999 only to show that as a previous price on next sale - I think it will be £699 on Boxing Day :)

And CES is 8 days after boxing day. Oh, the dilemma.

So visited Currys today they have this for £899.99 atm but no stock )-; said next week. Called Richer sounds also no stock mid/late Jan they said. Tried also JL no stock and not sure when. Would not let me buy then and there and put on order (I tried John Lewis, currys and Richer sounds).
i made the plunge about 2 weeks ago and in the end went to curry's store although had a problem with the £30 off code they finally honoured it in store, think i had the last one in the country!!! . Store said someone travelled to Swansea from London for one day before (really!) finally had it with Cable for about £923 so happy.
Now to the TV - out of the box fantastic . A mate bought the LG OLED 65 inch and yes it's an awesome TV but i've got to be honest i couldn't see any difference in the picture quality (don't shout at me!) and the price difference is massive. pound for pound i would recommend this TV.
Connectivity was a breeze and it picked up all my devices immediately. One HDMI cable from the small box to the TV (Love It) Sound is very good for a thin tv. Smart remote is fab. So far nothing negative and i am now able to watch my Local Swansea City being hammered in SUHD!
Anyone else waiting on delivery from Currys?

Purchased the Samsung 55KS7000 from John Lewis and the stutter and motion is truly dreadful on the set I've received, especially when watching ball sports but also just when news presenters and/or actors turn their heads for example. At worst it is every minute or so. After testing various settings, literally 100's of different variations based on recommended settings etc.. it has improved but there is definitely something amiss here. Many people rave about how good the tv is and how blown away they are by the picture quality whilst others seem to have problems. The version I have (found on the back of tv is 03) whereas others have 01 or 02. Can you get a bad batch of TV's?? Has the most recent version been rushed through to meet what is no doubt huge demand for this set after all the superb expert reviews?? Not sure if this has anything to do with it but I'll be seeking a replacement. The dilemma is to risk getting the same model and having similar problems or going for a different model/brand.

I keep seeing people mention this issue with Samsung tvs, it specific to theirs?

The majority say it's a great TV so not sure what to think! Maybe you can convert the signal somehow (such as through an av receiver) to get around the issue?

That's no different from me voting cold, bacause it doesn't have 17 HDMI ports.

this or LG 49UF770V?
Bought this exact to for £550 last week - love it. Great deal.
bought this TV from another company for less then £500 on blackfriday deal, amazing TV.
I have the U 6450 version of the tv which is the same but a Currys specific model.
It's ok but there are problems of motion judder (soap effect ) on Eastenders and Coronation St especially which no amount of motion setting adjustment seems to improve.
Also viewing angles are very poor resulting in loss of picture colour when viewed from even the slightest angle from the side.

Sounds like a deal. Any one have a hands on review

Went to look at in store (Currys) today, only had 48inch model but demo material looked very crisp although slightly unnatural to my eyes but I think my brain can't cope with the resolution as it looked jittery.
It was next to a Panasonic cx700 series which was beside it which used different material but I thought gave a better picture in the same price range despite using edge lighting and a slightly softer image.
Some reviews say the samsung can't cope with 24fps (blu ray playback without artefacts), other reviews don't mention this.
Neither of these models are flagships so won't be perfect but OP has a good deal especially considering the warranty. I'm still looking for a good deal on the Panny in 65".

Not a bargain if will spend more time waiting for repair. Bad reviews, reported as rebadged turkish Vestel
I've not had a such a problem on my current Panasonic machine
I rated Panasonic as a brand but the top end washing machine I bought was awful. As was their warranty and customer service.
chewed clothes from New, 1st engineer claimed nothing wrong even though seeing photos. 2nd freed the clothes and told me it was a known fault with no repair and he would log it as such. Panasonic claimed he put in his report no fault. 3rd time it ripped sheets I filmed it. engineer said yep same fault. Panasonic report said user error.
At this point I sent the pile of crap back to the shop and filed for and won compensation for damaged clothes. Even that was a struggle as they tried to get out of it by wanting receipts for the clothes that matched the labels!
wouldn't trust having to deal with Panasonic for anything now.
Thoughtful
Problem Child
A++++? who does these energy ratings? ebay reviewers?
I have the 10Kg version, which I believe is made by Hisense, not Vestel.
There is a set of parameters which the machine is tested on for the efficiency, according to the near useless manual, it uses just .57KWh on the eco Cotton program, not bad when it also has to heat the water as well.

I think PC was commenting on the large number of pluses after the 'A', making it look like ebay feedback.

Probably might just as well be though. For example, my current machine saves on water usage by not rinsing the washing enough to remove all the washing powder from the clothes, thus achieving a good water usage rating, but provides an extra rinses option to produce an acceptable wash; and one of my previous machines washed 10 degrees lower than the displayed programme wash temperature to achieve a better energy rating, but had a button to press to wash at the correct temperature.

£299 seems to be the going rate on the web for this product. As far as 5 yrs Free Warrenty goes. This is a marketing ploy. Anyone who knows their legal rights knows that under sale of Goods Act you get up to 6 yrs cover against mechanical breakdown. if check small print of Warrenty it will likely exclude the normal causes of failure like blocked pump or overloading or anything attributed to a failure to undertake mantenance tasks.

You are corret I believe with what you say - however after 6 months YOU sometimes have to prove the machine had an issue from new, also when your washer is out of action you don't want to fight for weeks (or months) for service you want a service engineer on your doorstep (pref. the next day) and your machine fixed ASAP. So I personally think a 5 year warranty is a good idea on a product like this.
Panasonic reliable .............We have owned a similar one for nearly 5 years , a family of 8 so the machine is on at least twice a day ........... Not a problem

Read the reviews on Hotpoint machines before buying one. I wish I had because I definitely would have gone for a different make had I done so.

We grew up with hotpoint as it used to be a great brand, bought all new appliances for new kitchen, and had so many problems 2 dishwashers in 18 months, when it broke again took the hard decision to bin it but the washer we just paid the additional warranty for the labour for about 4 years but again it came to the point where enough is enough. Sadly you may be at that place as well, there are plenty of good makes out there that won't keep costing you, it's a big decision to take but like cars you get to the point where you say enough is enough :(

This seems a good replacement proper 5 year warranty by the looks of it though I haven't checked past the title :)

not sure if this comes with the 5 year warranty as its not listed on their site. Either that or they are being cheeky by selling you a 5 year warranty from Electrical Discount when you dont need one as Samsung are doing it for free.
i have a similar model and compared to the hotpoint i had before the samsung is brilliant and the 5 yr warranty definately gives you peace of mind

The posted deal works out more expensive with their 5 year cover at £870.54 - but if you're prepared to take a risk with a 1 year warranty...

that's where mine came from, price hasn't dropped then. I was under the impression all 4k tv's come with a 5 year warranty tho?
Got the 55 inch 830V in this. It doesn't have the webos. Have I missed out on a lot as I would love the multitasking feature of the webos. There's no comparison sites for the two models. Anyone with the know who could provide some info would be great. You guys always impress me with the infos you have. I paid £879. Did I pay too much?

correct me if im wrong but hasnt this had lots of problems thats why they brought out the 820v?
just think i read that somewhere aint 100% though.
+ whats the input lag /response time of this?
Thats wrong sorry. The 820 is just lowest speck 800 version (no 3D etc) 850 being the highest. If you have one and get lots of input lag, then turn off simple link, its a software bug. But a great telly especially at this price. Worth paying extra for the 5 year guarantee if you are going to keep it that long.

not that deep, was as deep as my old aeg. the tumble dryer was much deeper
i have this washing machine for more then half year and i called technician twice. it has manufacturing problem as has too small drain pipes inside and gets blocked very often but i was cleaning myself many times. but then it was beyond my capabilities. second time water started running from underneath and they didn't find anything. i had to take 2 days of to stay home for technician that means that machine now cost me nearly double. Daft comment of the day award!

There's no such award.
Got this same machine delivered last Friday for £349 + £120 cashback and free 5 year warranty.
That was offered by the same company Electrical Discount UK, after Panasonic stopped shipping the 147 model that i had ordered and would have cost £100 less. They also offered a premium delivery at no extra cost, as we couldn't be there on normal courier days.

So just to say, hats off to EDUK, who were excellent at handling the situation, and to say that the machine itself is just amazing. It's quiet as a mouse - the clothes moving inside are the loudest things. Even at 1400 spin I just cannot hear it in the utility room.

It's no issue for me, but just to note that the cashback cannot be claimed until after 28 days of receipt. I'm certain this is just a tactic based the fact that some will forget to claim.

http://www.electricaldiscountuk.co.uk//store/p/laundry-dishwashers/washingmachines/freestandingwashers/panasonic-na127vb5wgb/?awc=1311_1420205980_017fcebf6d6a8d2cf581a865b21f7829

That's £324.99 plus there is 4% topcashback which is £13 back then of course £100 back. £212 into total for a highly efficient, feature packed washing machine with the piece of mind of a 5 year parts and labour warranty.

The same sort of money you'd get some horrible Argos chinese monstrosity with 1 year warranty, poor energy ratings and absolutely no support beyond the warranty.

£212 is an amazing deal.

Not much difference between 1200 and 1400 spin.

These are difficult to deliver.
First one: sent one man to deliver this and dropped it.
Second one: 2 men came and door damaged. Even 2 men is hard.
May be third time lucky.

Easier to buy a freezer and a refrigerator and put them next to each other.
Price gone up now to £1249.95 EXPIRE.

This is what this store always does.... It increases prices when you put a deal on this site.
Same thing happened to a Samsung Ecobubble washing machine last year. Purchased for £315 and increased to £349.
If you see a deal on the site, buy it as they always increase prices.

Appliances Direct £1198.97 or £19 off this with a Which Trial.

So cashback is excluding VAT.

=£1199 - £45.45 - £400 = £753.55

£80 a year for a filter is a joke. Can you use it without a filter?
Does the icemaker work without plumbing it? Some people may not have a convenient water source close by.

How cold is the water in this model? Other complain it is not very cold.

I have this fridge freezer myself, it is incredible. The fridge is a great size, has different cool zones for different products and the ice maker/crusher and water dispenser has been heavily used throughout the summer.

One word of caution, the icemaker/water dispenser is plumbed into the mains and is filtered and the replacement filters work out about £40 for 6 months
That said, we love the clean filtered water it dispenses and the ice maker has been the most popular feature in our house so had we been using a brita or similar filter for jugs of filtered water, the cost would have been the same, except with this its plumbed, on tap, instant and worth every single penny

Heat from me, this price is a steal and really people, a top end american style fridge freezer for under £750 (max TCB will take it below 750), this should go smokin !

Price £1199.95
-TCB (4.2%) -£ 50.39
-Panasonic C/B -£ 400.00
Total £749.56

Here is the link to the panasonic cashback offer HERE

The deal is only on for purchase up until 9th Jan so get your skates on if you ever wanted a big fridge freezer and have room to put it (they are pretty large so get the tape measure out

Panasonic page for this is HERE
