How do they compare to 2010i/2020i?

Not sure. They are for different purposes really. The 2000s are just speakers. So if you only need a pair of stereo speakers, then you would consider those. The BT3 is different in that it is powered and has a built in amp and it's own inputs. They have 2 line ins and an optical in. Sonically, I imagine they are comparable - they both get 5 stars from What HiFi.

Good luck finding a 65" curved 3d 4k telly for a grand.
I don't need a curved tv 4k would make much more difference and means more than one person can watch it. if I wanted a curved screen I would just get a 21:9 monitor

Is this not one of Dyson's worst yet?!?
luridtricycle
Fusions are by far the worst vacuum we gave ever had. Never met a person that had a good one yet. Buy a Henry and you will not regret it.

I gather you are not keen on a
Dyson but what is a "Fusion" ?
Dyson wins hands down over Henry for me. Great for picking up animal hair and easier on my back. I've owned both and don't intend on purchasing another Henry, even if they are reliable.

Personal preference, and each to their own.

This seems an excellent price for a newer model.

Sorry I don't do gaming but the screen is fantastic, they are on show at Currys if you need to look. There are plenty of people on google that are commenting at the moment, the older comments are poor but LG have done a software update that seems to make everyone happy now.

I had £900 to spend and wanted the LG55UB830V but the wife wouldn't let me, she said NO MORE THAN 50" lol, so I had to go for the LG49UB850V. LG seem to change models every week, it takes ages to sort out what they do so you can get the one you want. Got mine from HiFiDirect London for £849, £50 cheaper than Currys, they wouldn't price match so lost a sale.

Wups It was from http://www.hificonfidential.co.uk London.

what's the screen like? do you have a ps4 or Xbox? just wondering if gaming is any good

Best looking on eBay one of these as they were bundled with the Sony 50w829 in the summer and this coming Christmas.
Thanks
They are a big improvement from the tiny TV speakers, but no where near as good as a full surround set-up would be - they're a sort of middle ground as you get good quality stereo/tri-stereo/pseudo-surround, but without the speakers and cables all over the place.
Are soundbars Amy good? Do they really work to bounce the sound off the walls to make it like your in a cinema?

I'm calm mate... was just helping you to understand the difference between Amazon-sold items and Marketplace-sold items. You were wrong - take it on the chin. I was merely pointing out that the item was not sold by Amazon. Nothing else to see here... move along please.

The whole debate about who to buy it from was centred around the warranty, etc. I'm sure that a saving of a couple of quid by purchasing an item from a Marketplace seller might not be as appealing to some when you consider an extra years' warranty and reputation of the seller. I know what I'd do.

I was wrong? What are you talking about, is this what you're usually like on this site? Someone asked how to get the item for £87.32, I showed a screenshot to help explain, and you barge in getting all stroppy.

I merely showed a screenshot of an Amazon trader advertising the item for the requested price.

Get off your high horse FGS.

You were wrong when you said the item was sold BY Amazon. I subsequently questioned you about that bit... you remember, the bit where you said it was sold BY Amazon. It categorically and undeniably wasn't sold BY Amazon. That part IS important as it reflects the reputation of the seller and therefore was worth highlighting that Amazon themselves actually weren't selling the item at that price.

Ask for the opinion of other people here besides me... there is a BIG difference between sold by Amazon, and sold by an Amazon Marketplace seller.

While we're on the subject of getting all stroppy though... I seem to recall it was you that got stroppy.
"Are you having trouble seeing the picture or something?"

So, get of your high horse FGS.
Just found a use for the ignore button, that might be a first on this site.

Are Curved TVs Better? (full article)

Conclusion quoted from above:

"Samsung would certainly like us to believe that curved screens are the future of television, and perhaps they are, but for the moment the jury remains out. There's no doubt that the consumer response has been positive and where Samsung goes the rest of the market is sure to follow. However are curved TVs better than flat ones? The honest answer is that it depends.

Many of the benefits that Samsung state are true but there are downsides as well; although there's no denying the immersive nature of the curve on particularly large screen sizes. Since average screen sizes are increasing and Ultra HD 4K makes more sense on a big screen, perhaps Samsung have a point. Here at AVForums we're largely agnostic when it comes to curved screens and ultimately it will depend on individual preference."
