Thanks for your post, I have just ordered one, heat added.
Perfect timing (not sure if the missus will agree) was looking for something bigger to upgrade my 120 m500. This fits the bill nicely. Heat added only 3 left now
Decent price. Good extras included which can either be used or kept as spares. Heat.

This is a great camera and an amazing price given the Canon cashback deal. I bought this last week at £209 and thought it was good value for money, so to get another £35 off makes this deal very ho…

Just got it for £169 on Amazon flash sale, with the additional cashback its not a bad deal.
They can insert it up their rectums for what they're asking now. £229
Typical, all the 260 range are £169 (less £30) making 'em just £139 in the Amazon sale today! I'd have liked a green one.

Seems that everything I buy these days, even when I've waited and picked my moment, comes down in price after I take the plunge!

Damm it...Would have been a great point and shoot

anyone purchased one from slrhut?

I contemplated getting it from them too..but after reading a lot of reviews, I decided against it. Many bad reviews and apparently very poor customer service

If this is anything like the WNAP360 dual band jobbie, you'll have trouble using a playbook with it.

the Dlink DIr825 is N not AC,

.

I know :)
Why not get the Buffalo WZR-D1700? It is 802.11ac and only £105 on Amazon and has been as low as £94!!!

Buffalo, Netgear and Asus all use the very same Broadcom SoC, check out the reviews on SmallNetBuilder.

DD-WRT has been available for a while (see BrainSlayer on DD-WRT forum) and settings have been confirmed to have it stable. Thus you don't need to stick with the (old) Buffalo firmware.

Do note that unless you have 3x3 N clients or you serve many clients you won't benefit until you get 'ac clients. Unless you're planning a 'ac wireless bridge...

I have a Dlink DIr825 and find that better. - So not voted

please note 5ghz will offer you a cleaner signal but offers less range than 2.4ghz.

http://compnetworking.about.com/od/wirelessfaqs/f/5ghz-gear.htm

Have you used the Netgear router then? Is your D-Link AC standard?
