We could do with a pet vac having recently been adopted by a cat (yes I did get that the correct way around). However, the reviews don't inspire much confidence.

I think Amazon has lowered the price due to the low demand on this item because of the poor reviews as this was sold for £42 before.

That's not the experience that I've had. I had my last vacuum cleaner was an electrolux, which I had 10 years. Best one I ever had. Have a Samsung now, and it's rotten. The filter needs cleaned after every 2 goes.

That's the issue though. Electrolux were good 10+ years ago but now they're designed and manufactured very poorly indeed. All they have left is their name, which is bocoming more and more tainted with the release of poor products like this one.
