Flys are fun but doing it to a wasp is better. We had a hole in the brickwork where some wasps flew in to. I put the zapper over the hole and when the wasp come out the hole it kept on walking in to the wires and frying, took ages for it to die while it was dying it sparked and smoked like a gooden.

Protective grilles to prevent shocks to fingers
erm not quite shocked myself a few times, again hilarious.......for others to watch

Future serial killers congregating here.

I bought one at the weekend as my family had one, theirs is slightly bigger and gives a bigger zap but you still get the same results with the pound one, it still stops wasps in their track, top notch performance from 2xAA's

Decided to try this on myself and put my finger on it - and it gives a nasty little shock! Dared a few pals to give it a try and they got frightened off. Can see this being a good aid to some drinking games...! Am contemplating taking mine apart and seeing what uses it can be put too.......

Originally, God wanted wasps to pollinate flowers but that didn't work so he resorted to Plan Bee

My mate has one and loves it .. but you lot made me laugh!

Personally dont like the idea of them taking long to die though .. there is a little bit of me that finds that cruel..was thinkin about fly nets on windows for summer... seen on ebay for around 5-6quid mark then in Poundland so may get both and keep the electric thing as back up!

Just because you don't like wasps doesn't mean it's okay to torture them. If you must kill them why not swat them dead in one go? Or, you know, catch them with a glass and a sheet of paper and let it go.

I would have if they hadn't setup home in my cavities, you name it we've used powders, sprays and most other tricks and none have worked. It's my family or them, plus swiping them with the bat doesn't work they must be on steroids round here.

Much better than smattering a blue bottle all over your window. Wait for fly to settle, gently place over and fry.... Heat :) if your batteries are weak it's a bit dodgy though - drawn out death scene a la green mile.

Well I used to drop live daddy long legs into spiders webs and watch 'Fred' jogging over and start wrestling with his newly delivered lunch. Then there was the time I was out back with my magnifying glass on a sunny day popping ants.
Then I had to get ready for work. :(

I bought one last year from poundland and it doesn't work anymore now! Tried to frazzle a fly 2 days ago using new batteries in but it didn't work as the fly was just crawling around under the bat
