Fantastic film. One of those great movies that works on many levels so can be enjoyed by both kids and adults alike. :)

I love this movie! Seen it loads of times but still as funny - which maybe a bit sad for an adult to admit but still a worthy purchase.

Ugh! Worst. Film. Ever.

Well, almost, and only for me - I know that people will most probably find it a great film, but I found it cringingly awful, personally. :(

Still a good deal mind, don't worry about me voting cold because I don't like the film - I'm not one of those... ;)

We got it for my daughter when it came out too. She still uses the alarm clock and the DVD is getting a bit worn now.

Oh my, we ADORE this film in my house and atch it all year long (roughly once every two months I'd say). It's SO quotable, te kids and I love the christmasgram song so much (and the following exchanges);

I'm here, with my dad, and we've never met!
Annnnd he wants me to sing him a song.

Uh, I was adopted- but you didn't know I was born!
So, I'm here now!
I've found you - Daaaaddy!
And guess what?
I love you, I love you, I LOVEEEEEEEEEE YOUUUUUUUUU!

Bought ELF 2 disc edition yesterday from my local TESCO for £3.
Kids love the film good to get you into the christmas spirit.
Worth a look if you're going to TESCO.

oh god these quotes made me giggle. When that elf bit is on with the midget/little person (i'm not getting into it lol) I cringe!!

I like it when he runs into the taxi across the road OUCH!!

£1,its not that bad of a film to be giving it away for a quid

like someone said before the taxi seen and the bit in the shower where he runs into the lockers are just laugh out loud funny:-D

i just finished watching this again last week watching with the two commentry tracks by Jon Favreau And Will Ferrell very interesting.

for anyone interested the director Jon Favreau is the same person who wrote and directed swingers another good film(so diferent to elf lthough)
he also had a brief stint as monicas boyfriend in friends(the wrestler).
he also has a show in the late hours on itv4 called dinner for five where him and other film/tv stars talk about films, acting, ect its quite good.
