this is an absolute bargain, you couldnt buy any 2 products in that kit for £30.

I agree, we wouldnt pay a full £200 for it but its a great deal

I bet this gets to deal of the day although personally i prefer this kit more;

I'll take yours and the wifes word for it lol. Can't take a risk buying this for anyone for xmas as don't know if the colours are suitable or not.

This is confusing, it says 2 lipsticks but states 3 colours in the ops post but says 3 on the site :S Maybe the op should edit that to the correct number.

2 Exceptional Lipsticks (Blossom, Heather Rose, Brown Sugar)

They are pretty common colours in terms of make up and theres a good variety from browns through to blues for ladies with different eye colours.

To be honest I think you'd be onto a winner anyway, I think its definately worth the risk.

and you reckon its a safe purchase for a 29 year old who doesnt go for really bold colours?
#19
I'm 21 and I've ordered one for my mum and my boyfriend has ordered one for me.

You can see from the pics that the colours are very simple, Elizabeth Arden tend to stick to elegant classical colours rather than experimenting with bolder brighter colours.

I can see how you think it might be aimed at older ladies, EA is very timeless when it comes to their make up but if you appreciate the quality of make up then you can't go wrong.

If in doubt, leave it out, I'm sure this will sell out shortly so if you're not bothered about one, leave it for someone else?

You're completely right, it is a low price, hence why so many have bought it, we can spot a bargain for Santa to bring.

Has the quality of Elizabeth Arden eyeshadows improved ? I received a similar big make up box some years ago, and the eyeshadows were absolutely awful. They were hard and scratchy and didnt go on well at all, they felt like the cheapest brand. Absolutely nothing like Estee Lauder eyeshadow which was gorgeous quality, soft and went on beautifully. I found the whole kit that I had to be on a par quality wise with something like Collection 2000, and I was shocked.

received today.
I am impressed, especially by the holiday collection (xmas pressie for mum).

though they were obviously part of some promotion as it says on the side of the box -
`42.50 with any 22.50 Elizabeth Arden purchase. 250.00 value'.
(no idea if they are talking pounds, euros or dollars?)
