Adds fine for me :)

The biggest difference is that the Kindles (or at least the ones available in the UK) are all e-ink screens. E-ink screens are better for your eyes and battery life as there's no backlight or screen refreshing. Personally, I think LCD eReaders (like the one in this post) aren't much good for fiction books.

The main thing to bear in mind, is that these multimedia ebook readers with colour screens have very poor battery life, and aren't great for reading in bright light, outdoors etc, and so really you're much better off buying a dedicated ebook reader with an E-ink type display, as they are easier to read, and battery life is measured in how many books you could read!.If you need or want multimedia as well etc, then maybe you'd be better buying a cheapish Android tablet, as I have, which runs the Kindle & Aldiko reader app's, but again, no where near the battery life of an E-ink type reader.
There are a lot of models to choose from, but there was a great deal posted on here the other day for a Sony one, for only £54.99 delivered, which I've ordered for my OH.

i would have snapped it up, I have the 700EB and the kindle 3G Wifi. I use the kindle a lot, but use the 700EB at night (for library books). Just invert its text to white on black background, and turn the brightness down to 10%. Hey presto, no glare and no intense light to annoy the missus! Plus it plays video well, MP3's and now radio.
Damn I want one, would have sold my 700EB on to a mate for £20 and had this.
Bargain! But looks like it should be expired
