Apparently so according to this private advert http://www.adverts.ie/ipod-mp3/elonex-cube-3-hifi-ipod-dock-lcd-screen-dvd-cd-radio/1824834

Must admit that this would be very nice for the kitchen :)

Good price but this is a REFURB?
#6
Hi guys:

Condition: Manufacturer refurbished
Warranty: 3 Months warranty

Still going to get one - better off ebay free delivery saving almost £7.00
#7
Anybody know what the sound quality is like on this? Can't imagine amazing for the price but...
#8
Mine has the 60W speakers, so sound quality is pretty decent in the kitchen...
Plays my DVD discs stacked with Mp3 for hours, which is good enough for me
Picture quality is good, mine does not have digi TV tuner so connected to an old Sky box for freeview
Still going strong after 4-5 years now

Only problem I've found was finding a shelving unit big enough to carry the main unit with the cables sticking out at the back

These were selling for £49.99 in Maplin a couple of years ago.

I was interested, but was told the Freeview tuner was stuck on long outdated frequencies, with no way of adjusting, so was pretty much unusable. Is this the case?

Cold because its from Morgan Computers

What inputs does this have? Considering strapping a RaspberryPi to it.

There's only one word to describe the LNXCube ?

I have another word to describe it. In fact, I have a few.

None of them should be read before the watershed.

You're not wrong - although the next one, the Elonex Cube4 with its coffee bean grinder and wine cooler really showed that to the full.
#18
Now price is showing £53.95+£6.99=£60.94.
I have purchased this set from maplin few years back for £99.99[New].Picture clarity is not at all good[what ever setting you try].it's pale and dull..But sound quality is good..Built is good..it is still working as mini audio system.

I've ordered yesterday so will report back once it arrives and I try it out.

Looks like a great little device.
Unfortunatley, the screen would be too little for us, tho :(
