Just my 2p - never been a fan of eMachines monitors. My friend has one and when you scroll down a web page or word document it all goes fuzzy and quality is awful.... maybe this is better? But Id steer clear.

To be honest eMachines PC's were not much cop either.

Average price for a 17 inch TFT monitor, not a great deal considering the brand.

Thats £99.99 plus vat by the way - Have a look here if you need a 17in TFT under £100. Far better quality products than e-machines

You can get basic "sort of branded" monitor for 97 quid delivered from Amazon.

When it comes to LCD's, always stick to a good name brand. Most times they are actually slightly more expensive for the higher quality, and not just because of the badge.

Viewsonics have a good name for themselves.
