Could be SIM FREE, I guess
#6
is this meant be be any good?

Its on Orange.. Which is a shame as their PAYG tariff is not very cheap unless everyone you call is on orange ( cross network calls are 40p per min)

It looks very well specced for the price.

i think you get 300 free texts with orange when you top up with £10 ???

Hi, I'm thinking of getting this for my wife (Mrs Spengler). She already has an orange mobile and SIM on an orange contract. Does anyone know if she would be able to use her Orange contract SIM in this phone, rather than the orange pay as you go that this mobile comes with?
Also if anyone has bought this mobile can they share what they think of it.

Welcome to HUKD rai345 :)

I think this phone may be locked to orange and will accept orange sims only. Donno how easy it is to unlock and without unlocking you cant use O2 sim card.

HTH :)

My son has changed to this phone from a samsung E720 & he says its much better. I've had a little play around with it & its very easy to use.
The music playing feature is well good as thats what my son uses it for most.

If your looking for an easy to use very well spec'd phone, i would recommend this one.

When slide is closed this is one very small & slim phone

These phones are supplied unlocked, also there is no orange branding on the phone.

So in effect they are sim free. Just supplied with an orange PAYG sim.

Emblaze Touch 7

http://www.mobilegazette.com/handsets/other/emblaze-touch-7/emblaze-touch-7.jpgExpected November 2006
13th November 2006
The name Emblaze Mobile isn't a very familiar one to people outside of the mobile phone industry, but it's part of a fairly well established Anglo-Israeli company with a background in various communications technology markets called Emblaze Ltd.

The Emblaze Touch 7 isn't the company's first mobile phone product, but it's one of the most interesting, both from a technical perspective and for the fact that it gives Emblaze a good change at a market breakthrough.
http://www.mobilegazette.com/handsets/other/emblaze-touch-7/emblaze-touch-7-2.jpgTo look at, the Emblaze Touch 7 is a smart looking handset, but perhaps a little derivative in its styling. Underneath, this is a tri-band GSM phone with a 176x220 pixel TFT display in 262,000 colours, a 1.3 megapixel camera with flash, Bluetooth, an MP3/multimedia player and expandable memory.
The internal memory on the Emblaze Touch 7 is 64Mb, and this can be expanded by using what Emblaze called "micro-flash" memory, which we assume to mean microSD/TransFlash cards. Other features on the Emblaze Touch 7 include a loudspeaker function, WAP 2.0 browsers, wallpapers and Java support for games.
Perhaps the specification of the Emblaze Touch 7 looks a little unremarkable, but this handset is pitched at the value-for-money end of the market, and it should cost around £60/€100 for pay-as-you-go/prepay customers. It's also a smart looking device that looks more expensive than it actually is, and is distinctive enough to make it stand out from a lot of the competition.
Initially, the Emblaze Touch 7 will be available through Currys and Currys.digital stores in the UK, followed by other retailers later. For UK customers, the Touch 7 should be available before Christmas, and the specifications mark it out as an appealing and good value for money device.
