Recovery is Eminem's seventh album, the follow up to 2009's Relapse and includes a wide range of collaborators--many of them artists the rapper is working with for the first time, like DJ Khalil, Just Blaze and Jim Jonsin. Features the single "Not Afraid".

Now available for just £4 using the £1 voucher code from Quidco (MP3PROMO)

Not his best album (imo) but a good one none-the-less.

Very good price though, heat added :)

Much better than his previous albums the songs are all mostly good:

Not afraid, love the way you lie, You're Never Over, Talkin' 2 Myself (feat Kobe), Space Bound and 25 To Life

As good as the LPs, though it's a grower. Light years better than the train wreck that was 'Encore' and better than The Eminem Show in my opinion, of course. Technically, the best flow he's ever produced.

Amazon have joined Quidco and are currently offering a £1 off voucher for a £4 spend.

His track with Rihanna (love the way you lie) is probably his one of his best songs since Stan. As proved by charting at no. 6 this week without even being released as a single.

I think this is a excellent price and it's a great album from Eminem too. My favourite song is No Love feat. Lil Wayne.
#10
Never downloaded music from anywhere else but iTunes, I can transfer this to my iPod right?
#11
Awesome album. Great for those who don't have Spotify Premium. :)

Go's automatically to your iTunes library/iPod

(once you have the amazon MP3 downloader installed)

Not a touch on Marshall Mathers, Slim Shady or Infinite. Easily his fourth-best album, but a damn fine album all the same.

Hot.
#14
good album!
#15
An incredible album. There's NO ONE that can do what Eminem does in his songs, and this album only emphasises that statement.
#16
Great album! 'No Love' is absolute quality! 'Not Afraid', 'Love the way you lie', 'Talkin 2 myself' and 'Seduction' are other great tracks IMO.

Better than iTunes IMHO - I buy all of my MP3s from Amazon. High bitrate, no DRM. No problems using on my iPod touch or or other devices and can burn to the outdated CD technology :)

Great price. I had a £2 voucher when they were giving them away for certain spend on Amazon. That plus the MP3PROMO code meant I bought it for £2. Great spot OP.

Same, and the album was worth all 200 of those lovely pennies which I spent on it. His best since the Marshall Mathers LP

amazing album, surapses all the expectatons i had of it, destroys the crap of encore and relapse, the flow is superb
#21
I just came to post the same as jetsetwilly and chaywa. here was me thinking im clever, lol :)

i bought a ipod and got £2 off a mp3, saw it was expiring soon.

I choose time flies by oasis though, and it took £2 automatically off, entered MP3PROMO, and yep, when i checked my account it had only cost me £2!. The oasis one has 26 tracks on it too, so thats good, first album i have downloaded, i feel like i still like to have things on cd though. i went through nectar too, so i think, i may get some cashback too :-D

I normally like to have the physical copy, but I had one of those £2 mp3 vouchers so it only cost £2. Can't go wrong.
#23
Not a bad price for a new album, although I've never been a fan of these paid MP3 downloads. If I'm purchasing an album, I actually want the physical copy because it adds to my collection, I have something to show for my purchase. Whereas anyone can download, and for free too.

I'm not saying people who buy the album MP3-style are idiots, certainly not. But I just don't understand why someone would pay for a download.

I could have easily - as you say ".... download, and for free too." ..... done just so.

Yet .......

I adore and very much appreciate Eminem's music - so I pay for it, hoping that it will make him enough revenue to make a further album.

I appreciate the comment that you want something to show for your money. Its a shame that artwork, added Xtras are not a feature of Downloads.

As for paying for a download ........ all the physical musical shops were closed when I wanted to purchase, and I needed it now. Poor excuse ....

...Each and everyone to there own ........

I'm not condoning downloading, but the reality is CDs are a rip off in the UK. A lot of new releases sold in the States are $10, which equates to around £6.50 or so. Whereas here, new releases are usually between £9-11 when purchasing the physical copy, unless there's a special promotion going on.

I was merely trying to get across in my comment that I don't understand why people pay for downloading. It's so easy today to simply download for free, and by paying to download, you still have no advantages over the available free downloads. I'll admit I do download for free, but the majority of these are mixtapes which are free anyway, and I do often download an album before purchasing it physically to see if it's worth my money. If the artist hasn't put the effort in with respect to my opinion, they don't deserve my money. I do still tend to buy physical copies (my CD collection is around 200+ last time I checked), but as I say, I simply want something to show for my money.

I have friends who pay for downloading, and it baffles me a bit.

Lol wait until your CD collection is 5000+, it puts a whole new perspective on having a physical product. Especially when you have to move house...

5000+ Daaaaamn.

I don't mean to be intruding, but how old are you and how long have you been collecting?

This cannot be called MUSIC by any stretch of the imagination, it is someone jabbering!!
#36
Not as good as Relapse IMO, a lot of the tracks sound the same and he's gotten very angry and shouty.

To be fair, he's always been angry and shouty. I was listening to The Marshall Mathers LP last night actually on my iPod, and it's obviously quite an aggressive album. But still obviously a pure classic, a real insight into Marshall's state of mind at that moment in his life.

Don't blame Eminem for your lack of imagination...

Singing is melodic, whereas rapping is percussive. Are you trying to say that percussion isn't musical?
