Not sure if this is classed as a deal or not but it is a great opportunity to see great football at a reasonable price. This year the cup includes Real Madrid, Juventus & Hamburg. I doubt there will be the full first squads on show but there are sure to be some big name players. I went on the Saturday last year and Arsenal did not field any reserves as far as I can remember.
I think the team was Almunia, Sagna, Senderos, Toure, Clichy, Eboue, Cesc, Flamini, Hleb, Eduardo & Bentner. Since Flamini has gone & Hleb is likely to follow, it will be the first chance to see any new signings.

The price includes 2 games so a great day out

Saturday 2nd August
Real Madrid v Hamburg (2pm kick off)
Arsenal v Juventus (4.15pm kick off)

So it works out at £12.50 per match or £7.50 for kids.

Sunday 3rd August
Juventus v Hamburg (2pm kick off)
Arsenal v Real Madrid (4.15pm kick off)

Tickets for Sunday are slightly more expensive starting at £30 (£20 Concessions).

Why is this negative? If you are voting cold, please give an explanation. Don't just vote cold because you don't like Arsenal. Surely that is not the spirit on which HDUK is built!

£25 - £30 for a pre-season friendly? Not exactly a great deal, no matter who is playing!
#3
Good find £25 to watch the mighty gooners - Bargain - Heat added
#4
i think these prices are an absolute joke....for a friendly regardless of two matches it isnt competitive football they all could field reserve teams theoretically another example of the rip off that is football.....
#5
Well, I guess this is not a popular deal, but I can't justify paying over £130 to take my kids to see league games. It will be their only chance they'll get to see their beloved team live this year.
#6
I don't think it is too bad a price, as you mentioned it's two games and four good sides.

Football is often expensive, for sure, but if you want to go, you go...
#7
It's just Arsenal haters voting cold on this.

Arsenal v Real Madrid for £25, easily worth it.

£25 for a friendly!!! That's a shocker!

£12.50 or £15:00 a game is an excellent prrice to watch some top teams.

so all you spurs boys and girls stop voting cold it is very sad :)

come you gunners

i'm sorry but voted cold,

too expensive for a friendly.

would expect to pay £10 - £15
#13
Hehe getting cold in here!

Agree with most people. The glamour names are there but at the end of the day, its only a friendly and the price for this is too high.

At a Championship/League 1 team yes, football is pricey yes but people that are voting cold and moaning are either a) Spurs fans b) Football haters or c) Fans of lower league teams and used to paying cheap prices.

This is cheap to watch a Top 4 premier league team against One of the best teams in Spain and Italy. There will be some top players on show as well as new signings.

£25 for a day at the Emirates stadium is cheap in my opinion

thing is where are the £25 seats? for a decent seat and after the additional fess your looking at £45. Most of the seats are £30 again after fees your looking at £35.

I'd say its still decent for 2 games and 4 top clubs playing but if your not really into football then it seems steep for what is a friendly arrangement.

voted hot myself as I still remember what they were charging to watch Brazil Vs Argentina friendly and that game wasn't too hot.

I reckon the Saturday will probably be better as players may get a little tired on the Sunday.
#16
the stadium alone is worth the money with out the football.
#17
Not just friendlies, don't you think Arsenal will want to win there own emirates cup? Cracking price for a cracking team!
#18
I think its a cracking deal, chance to see 4 top teams from England, Italy, Spain and Germany. I think the chance to see such teams in this magnificant stadium for £25 is a top deal and I'm sure the players on show will include some top class names as well. The fact its a mini tourney makes it more competitive!
#19
Is this a hot deal or just an advertisement for a football match? :?
#20
Voted Hot.

£25 is good to see four top teams and a day out at a great stadium. And they will field pretty good teams.
#21
Good to see this has created a debate!
I expect the full Real & Juve squads have as many Internationals as the Arsenal team!
Well worth the money IMHO.

Its a souless corporate dome with an atmosphere akin to that of a morgue.

Good deal, people need to red the description before voting cold, the price is for two games! You'd probably pay more than that per game to watch some very low division team, i mean I have to pay £20 per game at Oldham who are in the lowly league one!

No doubt it won't be full strength Arsenal both days as the players would be dead if they played 2 90 minute matches in 2 days.
#29
This is a cracking deal if your a Gooner as its the only chance you have to see **** pick up any silverware this season..:-D

But for everyone else including Spurs fans its just a freindly with 4 squads of overpaid reserves with the odd first teamer dotted in there..

Cold for me I'm afraid..

I would rather watch sunday morning league footy at my local playing fields, at least they don't fall down at every opportunity and then act like morons round the ref when they don't get there own way..

Well, I don't care what the 'non-football lovers' are spouting, I will be going again this year. My kids loved it. Worth it for the Mexican Wave alone!!
#31
I competely agree with you, my son is an arsenal fan, and with travel added on top I could not afford to watch a regular league game
#32
Great deal

Well, for one, I don't reckon my Oyster Card will get me to Scotland and I reckon it'll cost more than £25.00 to get to Motherwell.

Also, apart from the poor chap died on the pitch earlier this year, I couldn't tell you the name of one Motherwell or Aberdeen player.

Not an Arsenal fan but went to this last year and it was great. All the teams had big name players, and although it wasn't as competitive as a league game, well worth it for £12.30 a game.

Shame the pies aren't as good as at Wigan!

Up the ****!!
