Unfortunately, from personal experience, this is not the case here - emotion tv`s are just very poor. I have bought 2 and taken both back the following day - shocking audio(honestly) and extremely slow panel response time resulting in SIGNIFICANT "vapour trails" on most movement on screen. I was only looking for something cheap for the spare room, but these are living proof that you shouldnt be taken in by the stats. 1080p led backlit they maybe, but I ended up buying a samsung for £20 more - only 720p, but a million times better audio and video quality.
Just my experience ( with freeview) - but you can always try it and take it back like I did I suppose

I hate it when cheap garbage like this gets described as an LED tv. This is an EDGE LIT led - not a full led. Title should read LED LCD tv. If it was full led it would be twice the price and the screen would be a 1/4 of the thickness. Everyone now wants an LED tv and unsurprisingly they've clocked this - but this is not one of them.

btw this was posted previously, so not sure why this is getting so hot. Its a crappy tv.
