Not sure on this one; Richer Sounds have LG 22" full HD with freeview for £149.95. Better price on more well known brand.

Don't forget this is an LED tv. Can't see any LED tv's on richer sounds at 22 inch for under £199.99 ...Also with this tv you can use a USB memory stick and record as well as pause live tv .. Top feature for me.. x

this one at staples is cheaper:- http://www.staples.co.uk/22-led-tv and has the same usb facility.

so not true
ive just joined to talk about these emotion tvs
ok i bought 2 (not these ones the 23" dvd usb one 1080p) £169 in store i missed the £150 deal

anyway i dnt think they have samsung panels at all (might of before)
i think manufacture has changed supplier for screen

i say this because people say the box says it has samsung panel on them
(mine doesnt say anywhere on them)

plus the picture is bad and viewing angle is somthing horrible

and 1080p i dnt think really is, as hooked up 360 and looks wrong

p.s you work at sainsburys how long do i get till return them for a full refund

and omg 90w of power they eat
[mod]#14
Nope there are only a few main manufacturers of panals.
You have 1 year providing you have your proof of purchase.

The model your Taking about is not the same as the one we are discussing at all buddy. They were previously named UMC although now use e-motion as a subname.

They are Samsung Panals, the new ones especially the one in this DEAL are really nice.
we have them in and on display instore.

they have stepped up the game a bit. the 23" and the 22" are not the best in LCD but to be honest they have been the same tv's re-boxed for the last 2-3 years with nothing changing.

Not any more though, they are alot better as the reviews on the site suggest and i see 1on4 is happy with his. You get what you pay for in most cases, but i assure you with the newer models you do see a lot more for your money.

this is the one (well 2 we bought) they were £169 in store though (wish i see them working but the store didn't have any on display just in the back (weird i know)

anyway im real busy with work we have had the 2 tellys for a week (2nd didnt even bother unpacking it) so next Saturday meaning having them 2 weeks will i be able to go in any sainsburys store and get a full refund?

and p.s ma8
it was cause a post of you saying it had a samsung panel that made me get them (a diff post u had on here)
anyway im not starting issues the features and sound are good i just find it unwatchable due to the angle viewing, i never see the led one back then, so your saying the 2 i got have samsung panels? if so it mist be the backlight making the bad viewing angle or something
and yeah i know its umc same as tecknika and stuff i read about it after purchase

You only have 28 days to return an unwanted product, with receipt and in full packaging. The year guarantee applies if the product is faulty.

Very hot for this price then :)

I personally think this is expensive for an unknown make, you can get a decent named product for this price, sony, samsung, toshiba, lg etc.

I personally wouldn't touch a emotion with a bargepole, as I think there may be a few emotions in months to come, or by the sounds of it, as soon as you open the box and plug it in.

Live.
What r u expecting ?
Panasonic - Czech Republic
Lg - Poland
itd

I would be concern about quality if on tv is "made In UK" :)

Can you record any input to the USB on these or is it just the Freeview? I know it would be too good to be true to be able to record my 360... but you never know?

only record from freeview due to copyright laws
and can record from only one channel (its not a twin tuner like a separate pvr)
ummm bummer is you cnt game whilst recording a channel as you must stay on that channel
although tv can be off,

I bought this TV for my mum at Christmas. Very happy with it except have one problem, the usb record feature doesn't work properly. Whenever I go to TV scheduler and choose a program to record, it will only record half the program! For example a 30 min program will only record 15 mins, hour program, 30 mins etc.

No reply from manufacturer and no firmware updates available. Only way i've find to get a program recorded fully is to manually add an extra minute at beginning and end of program. Bit annoying, especially as this is for my mum, she just wants a simple click and record feature.

Going back to Sainsbury's tomorrow. Hopefully get a working replacement.

nope backlit.

You seem to be confusing this thread, all LCD tvs are backlit. The terms are full array and edge lit. This is obviously an edge lit TV.

Well maybe, the only real difference is the light is supplied by LEDs instead of a traditional fluorescent bulb. It will be thinner and use less power, but I wouldn't bank on any other advantages.

yeah i know how the technology works ma8 :)

just thought if a few leds went it would still be usable (i think)

but if the lamp behind a lcd went (bye bye picture new lamp needed)

well thats my theory
