available instore and online

Hook up to an HD source and enjoy the benefits of high definition TV with the Emotion 23" Full HD LCD TV/DVD combo. If you've not got access to an HD source there's still plenty to enjoy via the built-in Freeview digital tuner and the built-in DVD player. Automatic set-up and on-screen menus make installation easy, while for connecting to other things there's a SCART socket, a HDMI socket, a USB port and digital co-axial output for connection to an amplifier.

Pause live TV with this Emotion LCD TV, thanks to its remarkable USB record feature. There's also a 7-day electronic programme guide so you can instantly record and future record your favourite shows.

As well as playing DVDs there's the option of recording TV via the USB port, either live or from the electronic programme guide. Two built-in speakers provide Nicam stereo sound, while for private listening there's a headphone socket. Finished in glossy black, it will look good too.

Ordered it myself this morning. Seems a good spec for the price to me, perfect for the bedroom viewing. Received the email yesterday from Sainsburys about this deal, nice to see someone posted it on to here to share.

Ho Ho Ho merry christmas everyone.

Daft question time. Can you watch freeview HD on this? It is an HD tv, but the tuner appears to be a standard one, is that right?
#8
I tried it and it said only applies to grocery ???? But if you buy the tv instore I guess you'd be able to use it ok....!

Is the USB feature on this just used to play back what you have recorded?

Or can it play video files off a USB drive? If so does anyone know what formats it can read.

The review of the 21.6" version has some comments about USB playback, I'd assume the hardware is basically the same.

does it mean getting a liesence on the house you live in or can you use someone elses

I was quite sceptical about buying a brand I've never heard of (being a fan of Sony and Samsung), but after reading the reviews I found it too tempting and have just placed an order and used the £15 off voucher. What a bargain! I just need to find a decent memory stick now to make use of the pause & record feature.

Thanks to the op and have some heat 8)

One reviewer said they had difficulty wall mounting this model but it may have been down to the type of bracket he used. Has anyone on here wall mounted theirs? and which bracket did you go for?

Voted hot, will look in-store tomorrow. Any idea on the max usb stick this can handle? Can an external hd be used for recordings?
#25
Very good deal! works out at £135 using the £15 voucher although you need to add something for 50p to your basket to make the £150. voted HOT!
#26
Ordered thanks, code works too, with quidco should come to around £136 delivered.
#27

#28
Bought the 26" version of this before the World Cup for 200, has a Samsung panel and came bundled with a 4gb sandisk usb stick, can confirm it works with external hard drive, not sure of max size it recognises though

Sorry to sound daft but where do you put the voucher code? is it at checkout?
#32
Ordered 2 @£135.49 each, excellent, TCB hasnt tracked yet though, perhaps takes a few days.
#33
code is entered at the last stage of checkout.

I've ordered one, free standard delivery 3-5 working days. Anyone got any experience of this, could it be sooner ? Do they text you to advise ? It's hard to be home to accept delivery when so vague.

Hi Got mine yesterday, picture quality good got some good functions,
I have found the user menus are a bit clunky .

Having terrible problems with the remote, it's not very responsive thought it was the baterrys but it's still the same after changing them, It's going back today.

anybody else had any similiar problems with remote control?
