Stingers are great quality but no qvc store near me or I would definitely be buying some.

I will have to phone the Warrington store in the morning to see if they have any!! I am off up the M6 tomorrow so could pop in!!

Did you notice if they had any of the Stinger Lo's?? That is what I would prefer but at £50 I think I would settle for the Hi's!!

Thanks for the heads up and I just hope they have them in Warrington!! I will let you know.

All I can say is you must have been lucky to get good quality. The ones in Shrewsbury yesterday were the pits! Many with no labels - even size labels - and quite a few with MUD on the soles.

All in all, the shop is a dump.

I actually went to the Warrington store twice - once on the Thursday and found one pair in my size and they were covered in mud, the sole was worn and they had grass stains on!!! I showed a member of staff and said I was very surprised they took them back as a return in that state and they took them in the back and wrote them off. I was told that they had more pallets to unpack so I went back on the Sunday and was there when they brough a box full of boots out to the shop floor. People did dive straight on them and I managed to get two pairs that I can honestly say are in perfect condition with tags - no wear at all and definately brand new. I suppose it just depends how lucky you are when you go but I phoned beforehand and that is probably the way to do it - make sure you are there when they are unpacking!
